This is potentially(?) a keyboard layout that isn't mentioned at the target. -- Tavix (talk) 21:31, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

  • Delete I can't find any evidence in reliable sources that this is a keyboard layout. Google searches finds usernames, complaints about errors in AZERTY software keyboards and years old forum posts about incorrect linux keyboard mappings. I have found a couple of non-English forum posts that mention it as possibly being a thing - one describing it as "German/Scandinavian", one as "Other German" and one that didn't give a description and may have been an error for AZERTY (the context was I think Cyrillic equivalents to Dvorak or Dvorak in Cyrillic environments). So that plus the lack of mention makes this clearly not a useful redirect. Thryduulf (talk) 21:47, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

  • Keep When considering only encyclopaedic targets (i.e. not dictionary entries) the current target is overwhelmingly the primary topic and already links to Suss (disambiguation) where additional uses can be added. Thryduulf (talk) 21:33, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
  • Keep Per Thryduulf. – robertsky (talk) 03:05, 18 July 2020 (UTC)
  • Reluctant keep. I am certain that Singapore University of Social Sciences is WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT for "SUSS". I am not at all convinced that it is for "suss". However, that is a WP:RM issue, not one for this forum. Narky Blert (talk) 19:19, 18 July 2020 (UTC)
  • Keep. Hatnote at target amended to note that both "SUSS" and "Suss" redirect there, and disambiguation page cleaned up to reflect a primary topic, and add {{re|1234qwer1234qwer4}}'s "sus law" use. All of which is without prejudice of an WP:RM of Suss (disambiguation) to Suss, which might actually be better. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:50, 19 July 2020 (UTC)

This search term doesn't necessarily refer to scholars of Islam. Delete due to ambiguity. signed, Rosguill talk 18:43, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

  • Delete It's a reasonable search term, but I don't see any good target for it. Any scholars who wrote prior to the modern period (in the history of human thought and the history of science) on any topic in any society could be called "traditional scholars", so it definitely shouldn't be pointing to a single topic area. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 02:05, 18 July 2020 (UTC)'

:The result of the discussion was speedy restore

. Per WP:BLAR, when there is disagreement on whether or not a page should be redirected, the page should be restored and listed at AfD. A trout is also being handed out to {{u|Reywas92}} for not following that procedure along with the personal attack that went along with it. It's probably a blockable offensive, but it's best not to escalate things where possible. Hopefully this matter can be resolved civilly moving forward, and if that's not possible, please just walk away from the situation. -- Tavix (talk) 19:24, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

The redirect is misleading because it now goes to a list which is just the US territories rather than the full geographic region of The Californias, as in the title. The page started in 2004 as coastal islands of Alta and Baja California and so that redirect is wrong now too. The page was fine as a [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_coastal_islands_of_the_Californias&oldid=961174196 list of islands in that region of Mexico/US] but someone recently tried to [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_coastal_islands_of_the_Californias&diff=966964840&oldid=961174196 delete] it. When the prod was removed, they became [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_coastal_islands_of_the_Californias&diff=966964840&oldid=961174196 abusive] and have been edit-warring to force this invalid title change. I reckon that the full list ought to be restored but as it's currently a redirect, I'm starting discussion here at RfD. Andrew🐉(talk) 14:58, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

  • As a minor note, I think this diff is the one that was meant to be linked in the "abusive" piping above. Primefac (talk) 15:22, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
  • Restore article. [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_coastal_islands_of_the_Californias&oldid=961174196 This version] (7 June 2020) looks like a perfectly good list article. It should never have been blanked and redirected without going through WP:AFD. Narky Blert (talk) 16:31, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
  • Restore article per Narky Blert. Thryduulf (talk) 18:16, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
  • Delete {{u|Narky Blert}}, this is not a perfectly good list article, but is unnecessary and WP:REDUNDANT to List of islands of California and List of islands of Mexico. Per WP:DUPLICATE, I may do a WP:BOLD merge – though there's nothing to merge in the first place! We do not need duplicate articles listing places in any arbitrary area when they are already listed in much better articles for specific areas. Reywas92Talk 18:43, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
