No one called Jeremiah J. Jackson exists in this article anymore so this redirect should be deleted. This redirect had already previously been questioned here two years earlier but nothing came of it: Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2018 May 25 Inexpiable (talk) 15:12, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
- Tentative delete, I couldn't find anything else on Wikipedia about this guy either. I don't know if he's notable enough to be mentioned... Regards, SONIC678 03:52, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget (I think?). It seems like he exists and was [https://www.cleveland.com/metro/2010/04/30-year-old_cleveland_man_rece.html sentenced to death] [https://www.cleveland.com/open/2014/09/laundry-murder_death_sentence_1.html in] [https://www.cleveland.com/metro/2009/07/jeremiah_jackson_indicted_in_k.html Cleveland], [https://www.cleveland19.com/story/10565797/manhunt-police-still-looking-for-jeremiah-jackson-ask-for-publics-help/ Ohio] that was [https://www.morningjournal.com/2014/02/03/man-guilty-of-robberies-in-erie-lorain-counties-up-for-death-penalty-hearing/ appealed] and [https://news.wosu.org/news/2014-09-02/court-upholds-death-sentence-for-cleveland-killer upheld] upon appeal. He's also actually covered in an article that is specifically about the 26 people [https://www.cleveland.com/court-justice/2016/10/waiting_to_die_26_men_schedule.html scheduled to die] and in another [https://fox8.com/news/prosecutors-oppose-mental-illness-bill-that-could-allow-some-inmates-to-get-off-death-row/ thing between an article and a listicle], so I can actually find coverage of him in this context. It might be worthy to turn this into an article of its own; capital crimes in the USA generally receive WP:SIGCOV (especially as the execution date nears), though I'm unsure if this WP:DOGBITESMAN. I'd tentatively propose to create an article on the murder and apparent [https://www.cleveland.com/metro/2010/04/court_watch_accused_killers_ro.html 17-day crime spree] (could be a stub for now and expanded later) and to retarget the Jeremiah J. Jackson page to that article. Not exactly sure if this is a Kosher practice, though it seems to be the most reasonable thing I can think of in this case. — Mikehawk10 (talk) 04:32, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
:Comment {{u|Mikehawk10}} Retarget to where exactly? There is nothing on Wikipedia about this person or the crime he was convicted of. If you are willing to create a page about him or the crime then so be, but until such page is created it should just be deleted. Inexpiable (talk) 20:24, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
- Delete per nom and Sonic. No mention about this person on Wikipedia, so it should be deleted as to not mislead readers. CycloneYoris talk! 10:23, 11 November 2021 (UTC)
- Delete until it can be re-created as a redirect to the article on the "17-day crime spree". Jay (talk) 06:20, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
