How can I add a new line (data series) to an existing Google Sheets chart?

I've Googled for help and tried the Google Sheets help but can't find my answer. The way the Advanced Editing > Customization > Series section refers to 'line 1' in a pull-down box really implies it would be happy to have a 'line 2'. But I can't figure out how to create it.Hayttom (talk) 02:36, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

:From memory which is a bit hazy, isn't there a button right there at the bottom of the sheet that says "add xxxx lines"? It defaults to 1000 but I think you can type anything you want there. Vespine (talk) 00:12, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

::Yes, but that's for adding lines to the data sheet. I'm trying to add a new data series to a chart.Hayttom (talk) 02:16, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

:::Aah sorry yes, i misunderstood. Vespine (talk) 05:22, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
