Jessica Sanchez
Is Jessica Sanchez a celebrity? I know she went on America's Got Talent and It's Showtime at the Apollo.[http://www.youtube.com/user/jsanchezfan YouTube - jsanchezfan's Channel] Do we have an article on her on Wikipedia? If we don't have an article on her, can we write one? Jet (talk) 01:30, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
=References=
- I don't know Showtime, but that doesn't really matter. It depends on how far she came in the competition and if she sold music or got an acting gig because of it. Also, how many information is available on her. If you were to write a basic biography on her, how long would the page become? - Mgm|(talk) 20:06, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Naruto Chapters
Which naruto chapter in Naruto Shippuunden has Jiraiya investigating two land of rain ninja, and having flashbackes of Hanzo, when he gave Jiraiya and the other two the title "Sannin". I can't locate it on Wikipedia and I have no time to find it on Youtube and all 'em. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.130.183.76 (talk) 03:30, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Troldhaugen: Who's Wedding?
Who's wedding was celebrated in Edvard Greig's composition: Wedding Day at Troldhaugen? - no one seems to know., Thank you in advance, Shir-El too (talk) 03:48, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
:We have had this question before, as I recall at the time we were not able to answer. Hopefully someone will now be able to help more. DuncanHill (talk) 03:51, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
::I’ve found 2 refs that state Grieg wrote it to celebrate his own marriage [http://www.pelicanmusicpublishing.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=PMP1-MMS-20-012&Category_Code=1] [http://www.amazon.ca/Piano-Music-Vol-Edvard-Grieg/dp/B000001481]. But I don’t trust either of them. He was married in 1867, Troldhaugen was not built until 1884-85, and he did not publish the piece until 11 years after that (1896). So any wedding that may have taken place at Troldhaugen was certainly not his own. My gut sense is that it’s about no wedding in particular, just a general mood piece to depict the feel of a typical country wedding. It’s possible that he was remembering his own wedding almost 30 years earlier in a different place; and it’s possible that he wrote it around the time of his own wedding but did not intend it to be published, and later changed his mind, adding a picturesque title to it. But these are just my theories. I’ve never seen anything authoritative about the identity of the participants at the wedding. -- JackofOz (talk) 23:06, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
:::Possibly to celebrate his own silver wedding? In 1882 Grieg wrote ‘Wedding Day at Troldhaugen for his wife Nina to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, which was spent at their mountain home, Troldhaugen, to which Grieg and his wife were so attached that they arranged to remain together, and close to it, after their deaths. Their ashes are sealed into a cliff face overlooking the house. [http://www.lessontutor.com/bf_grieg.html] SaundersW (talk) 17:00, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
::::Was 1882 a typo for 1892? (1867 + 25 = 1892.) That theory actually sounds quite plausible; indeed, we've covered this ground before, I see [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Archives/Miscellaneous/2007_August_19&diff=153550924&oldid=153528221]. And there are a number of other websites that say this, so I'm guessing it's close to the truth. -- JackofOz (talk) 00:13, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Thank you all for the reviews. Yes, I asked this question once before, but did not receive a source for the reply. I've always loved the piece, but I began wondering after hearing a midi of the original 19th century arrangement: the style was irritating at first, then I suddenly realized how wildly overjoyed this version sounds. I still wish we could find out why the name was changed... but maybe that will remain one of life's mysteries. Thank you all again, Shir-El too (talk) 23:49, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

google riddle
we are currently studying on how one can optimize the google search engine to minimize the number of searches u want.we were given this riddle to practice on i have more than one hundred horses yet am only an insect.what am i?i have tried but failed.if anyone can guide me please help —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.202.195.74 (talk) 09:48, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
:I would hazard a guess (without using google) that the answer to the riddle is a car (of over 100 horsepower) that has the name/maker of an insect. Which would suggest to me a Volkswagen Beetle. 86.21.74.40 (talk) 12:47, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
::A Beetle over 100hp? Really? DuncanHill (talk) 14:26, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
:::Suprisingly, to me too, the new Beetle has a variant for sale with (an alleged) 220hp. Scary, that speed in an upturned-pram. 86.21.74.40 (talk) 18:56, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
:::Or possibly a "Bug" Bugatti. 64.236.80.62 (talk) 16:45, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
::The USS Hornet definitely has over 100 horsepower, as does the F/A-18 Hornet. Clarityfiend (talk) 22:39, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
It's only Sonia!
What English sitcom featured a neighbor who, at the most inconvenient times (of course), would pop in at the back door and warble "It's only Sonia!" ? —Tamfang (talk) 17:28, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
:Fresh Fields. 86.21.74.40 (talk) 18:58, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
:: Thanks. I find that I remember nothing else from that show! —Tamfang (talk) 20:54, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Upgrading to HDMI Xbox360
I have a first gen Xbox360 that only has the multi-out port. I was thinking of buying a new Xbox360 with HDMI, the cooler Falcon chip, and the quieter optical drive. Will I simply be able to remove the 20GB hard drive module on my old model and use it on the new Xbox? I wasn't sure if there was DRM that locked content (XBL account, XBL Arcade games, videos, game saves, achievements, etc) to a specific console. --72.202.150.92 (talk) 20:49, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
:You can just swap them out. But unless you are very rich, or your old 360 breaks, it isn't really worth it. Neil ☎ 14:25, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
::Why is that? --24.249.108.133 (talk) 17:13, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
:::Its a personal choice. That user doesn't believe the value you will get from those three options outweigh the cost of upgrading.
