Looking for old discussion on donation banner

Greetings fellow Wikipedians,

I am looking to try to find the old discussions where we all talked about how much the giant donation banners were a pain and why we decided to keep them. I remember this discussion happening several years ago, but am not having much luck finding it. I am hoping to post it to Reddit to answer some questions and provide some background for the folks there. So far I have come up with Wikipedia:Fundraising redesign from 2007, but I don't think that this is the particular discussion I was looking for. It does seem to be from approximately the correct time period though. Anyone remember this talk and know where it is at? Zell Faze (talk) 15:48, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
