Goodyear Raincoat Company: clearly some relation to Charles Goodyear, but was it part of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, or something separate? The photo here is from a shop in the Alaska Building in Seattle in 1911, but the sign says "New York, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Cleveland [etc.]", so I'm a bit surprised that we seem to have nothing on this. :I strongly doubt whether age sets are at all commonly found in societies at the state level of organization (along the anthropological scale band-tribe-chiefdom-state); a "Life in Ancient Egypt" book I looked at just now mentioned nothing about such a thing. Practically every society has age grades of a sort, at least as far as language terminology goes... AnonMoos (talk) 03:31, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
