Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:

:1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?

::A: I would like to help stop abuse!! I enjoy searching Wikipedia for articles that have been abused and correcting them.

:2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?

::A: "Ask.com - Removed vandalism of info box on right hand side of page" :: The whole info box was edited to display a users personal website. "Directory Services Restore Mode - Edited link from IP based to Domain based" :: This link could have been used to spoof an IP and redirect users to a malicious website. IP based links should never be used.

:3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

::A: I have not been in a conflict with any member of Wikipedia but I have been very irritated with users who do not have accounts editing articles for malicious reasons. I generally deal with this by either editing the page to reflect the real information or by reverting the article back to the state it was in before it was edited.

1. Not Now I'm afraid that's something for the WP:NOTNOW clause. I am afraid you lack experience and edits to become an admin here... So#Why 18:33, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
2. Your enthusiasm is definitely noted, but I don't think you've been contributing to Wikipedia long enough to be considered for adminship. I might also suggest removing your real name from public view, unless you're not too worried about that. –xeno (talk) 18:35, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
3. Your edits here so far have been good, so keep them up, it's just a little too soon. We haven't got enough evidence to know how you'd use the tools effectively. Your edits that you've made so far don't need any admin intervention, so just carry on plodding on as you have been. You might be interested in getting involved with some deletion discussions - it really helps improve your knowledge of many of our editing guidelines. 5. Oppose at this time. The good news is that I've reviewed every one of the candidate's edits... the bad news is that it took less than ten minutes. I just can't find sufficient grounds, in this short history, to trust the candidate with the tools. I think this good faith application should be withdrawn and I would urge other editors not to oppose a further application on the basis of this one. SHEFFIELDSTEEL^TALK 19:07, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
