=== Herosudos, et al. ===

  • {{checkuser|Herosudos}}
  • {{checkuser|Hurricane Drini}}
  • {{checkuser|Froggy}} Hmm... [{{fullurl:Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Micoolio101|diff=prev&oldid=63585282}} this vote] seems to have actually been from an AOL IP. I'm thinking the signal-to-noise ratio might make this request useless afterall. --f.o.n.
  • {{checkuser|M. Burmy}}
  • {{checkuser|Micoolio101}}
  • {{checkuser|Juppiter}}

Various misdeeds including the creation of hoax articles [{{fullurl:Special:Undelete/Hurricane Drini}}], trollish RFA nomination with highly suspect support votes [{{fullurl:Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Micoolio101}}], vandalism of actual articles [{{fullurl:Lists of tropical cyclone names|diff=prev&oldid=63598557}}], possibly other related usernames and bad behavior of which we are not aware. — Jul. 13, '06 [14:11] <[{{fullurl:user:freakofnurture}} freak]|[{{fullurl:user talk:freakofnurture|action=edit§ion=new}} talk]>

{{TakeNote}} Is this still a problem? I note that several of the accounts are blocked, and without getting into all the user's contribs, I'm not entirely sure where the connection is. Essjay (Talk) 15:27, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

:The bad-faith RFA, an extension of the anti-OrphanBot flamefest, received support votes from some of the above [{{fullurl:Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Micoolio101|oldid=63626250}}], which seem to have been removed by other users prior to its closure. The edits made by the "new accounts" prior to supporting the troll-RFA consisted of hoaxing and vandalism (as linked in the comment above). I would like to know whether there is technical evidence of sockpuppetry on the part of the candidate or the nominator, in addition to the obvious trolling. This distinction would be a major factor for administrators to select appropriate block durations. To be clear, I would have blocked for longer, but the possibility of separate idiots pursuing a common dream, rather than one idiot with multiple accounts, had not been addressed. — Jul. 16, '06 [15:49] <[{{fullurl:user:freakofnurture}} freak]|[{{fullurl:user talk:freakofnurture|action=edit§ion=new}} talk]>

{{TakeNote}} There are days I wish I had an {{oy}} template. These seem to be different individuals; a few are AOL and likely a single person, but Juppiter, Micoolio101, & M. Burmy are on different ISPs, in different areas. Essjay (Talk) 16:24, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

:Okay, thanks. — Jul. 16, '06 [16:33] <[{{fullurl:user:freakofnurture}} freak]|[{{fullurl:user talk:freakofnurture|action=edit§ion=new}} talk]>
