[[Tote Board Rigged]]

It has not been widely publicized that the final amount which came up on the MDA toteboard in the final seconds of the Telethon was predetermined by MDA officals weeks before the Telethon aired. This can be verified by an Administrative Assistant charged with typing and editing the press release prior to the Telethon and, in additional to other MDA employees, particularly former Public Affairs Manager Jim Brown. Mr. Brown told his staff that this had been done for years to ensure that each year the final amount went up, even though logically it was not likely. 72.201.105.172 (talk) 14:20, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
