Hello, I am an uninvolved editor with info for this user to be further looked at. They could be innocent with a coincidence however. hopefully a check user will clear it up. [There is using geolocate and connecting the closeness in time, with the contribution area and topic/supporting}

This user potentially uses ult accounts edit war and go after others for wrestling

• Multiple edit warring reports for the topic of wrestling reported to admin board , for example of the same article talked abouthttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/3RRArchive418

• all listed follow exactly what "addicted" supports

• all potential sockpuppets originate around the same area and simular ips and ip info. ie Telstra Internet, city, geoarea. (also with subject manner and sometimes time & discussion)

• Comments are made soon after each other or from addicted

There are possibly more, I don't have more time to check, I haven't checked if any registered accounts are possibly similar. If I am wrong I apologies to both addicted and to the admin, however this is a precaution and reasonable suspicion. innocent and assuming good faith until found guilty. but please look into this I don't have the time right now. I am still learning the ropes I don't mean bad for anyone.

I just have concern seeing it and using who is and geolocate but also I know ip and sites like these aren't always accurate. But its the topic and timing i'm concerned with. but as i said they may be innocent.

This SPI only came to my attention after Czello removed some rubbish (harassment as was mentioned below by asilvering) from my talk page and I asked him if he knew what was going on. First of all, those IPs are not me. Now I can understand why the report has been made, but only with the 2001 IPs. The 110 IP's have used language that I have never used. The 2001 IP's have been following me around by the looks of it and have done for awhile given the second of the two. I have seen them, but I paid them no mind because they were doing the right thing - or so I thought it would appear. It now appears that the effort may have been more sinister, and now that I am aware of this along with the confessions on my talk page that Czello removed I can act more appropriately. They seemed to be supporting Damolisher, and as Czello said below I caught him socking. But the second 2001 IP was before that, so I suspect it was more of a case of coat tail riding. So I looked into it further and late 2021 was when I was having issues with User:Walwal20. Now the IPs aren't him anymore than they are Damolisher. According to his user page Walwa is in Brazil. Damolisher is in New Zealand. The IPs are Australian. I think that might be the connection given that he was claiming to be developing a report on me [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Armbrust/Archive_23#Problematic_user here], [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Pidzz#Problematic_user here], [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:TheKinkdomMan#Problematic_user here] and [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Socks_01&diff=prev&oldid=986182977 here]. It presumably went by the wayside when he left upon his block. I realise the evidence is circumstantial, but for me it is certainly suspicious and supports the view that I am being set up. The IP's - especially the first 2001 one - are following my edits and supporting me using my posting style to get me blocked for socking. I will admit they have done an excellent job, and they may have known the checkuser would have been declined forcing a behavioural check. I can only say with all my heart that it is not me and leave it to the admins to decide. I will understand a lack of belief such is the standard of the set up and accept any punishment administered even though it would be incorrect. I will of course be disappointed, but it would be what it would be. I will only say that it would be a win for the IP's concerned and that would be unfortunate. Thank you. Wow, this was unexpected. I'd suspected some form was sockpuppetry was involved but I didn't expect it to be another party who using it to attempt to get Addicted blocked. I apologize to Addicted for accusing him of sockpuppetry; but I sure you understand why I initially suspected you as the IP user appeared out of nowhere as soon I reverted you and had the exact same opinion/view and writing style, many people would come to same conclusion that I did. Well. I looked at it some more, as now it fells more of a personal responsibility that the wrong thing doesn't happen and for due diligence. additional notes: (not arguments as to accuse, but my notables that weren't discussed, both defending and suspicion)

Basically: don't be hasty as it could be a cover up made to look like a setup to hide, but also don't accuse hastily as what was said before may be a the intention to think what happened.

• User:Walwal20 has been inactive since 19:57, 1 January 2021

• plus they haven't shown interest in that article on main account
• a blocked account would be boring to watch for edits (unless they have socks that routinely edit currently)
• Meatpuppetry is also not easily that fast and still had to be quickly noticed
• it would be a active page watcher or editor
• the edits were soon after the reverts, including the 2001 address start
• a situation change (or proxy if proxy detected) could of allowed demolisher to have those address

• There are also other active editors they had conflict with (currently checking rn)
• Since this year, many of addicted edits were reverting the same info, that user makes up the vast majority of reverts for that info many times different other editors re-add the info, while a few remove the info with addicted. it has gone with the majority of time with the info being present.

The issue is it kind of shoots itself in the foot, the sockpuppetry is too blatantly bad and unnecessarily obvious. it's exposing the supposed plan to get addicted accused. Almost like it wants to be caught

This could be also be done because someone thinks that it doesn't matter and would amount to nothing, to harass

it could be a quick cover up for the edits/mistakes for the first one or two ips on, and it became more frantic.(personally I think there's an almost phony tone, potentially intentional. However it could be blatantly bad on purpose to where addicted would be accused and the other complications is to make it more realistic

• :Worth pointing out that the harassment mentions User:Damolisher. This was a user who, across several sock accounts, had a fued with Addicted. Eventually Addicted figured out it was a sock puppet and Damolisher's later account got blocked. Addicted was then subjected to harassment from the user from multiple IPs, which is seemingly what's happening here. — Czello ^(music) 07:35, 7 June 2025 (UTC)
• ::(not starting a convo) looking that they were involved in past sock investigations used against them, what happened did seem too low ball for someone with that amount of wiki experience. it could be harassment/set up, if not a cover up. This case would need more diligence to make sure the wrong person doesn't get in trouble for socking.
• ::Also addicted4517 did interact with 110.140.158.35 soon after revert which either way could make it less suspicious or more. Addicted4517, at the time was the only person to pin it to for a investigation for me.
