A little bit of back ground...

CmdrClow is an active editor focusing on comics related material. Of late they have been adding material that, to all appearances, is coming from sources that limit access to comics shop owners and distributors.

ComicsPlace is an account that was put in place just over a year ago. One of its earliest edits was to create an advert message on it's talk page for "The Comics Place" - a comic book shop out of Bellingham, Washington - website address included[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:ComicsPlace&diff=prev&oldid=196846797]. Most of its edit at that time were to act as a "booster" for Clow, nothing more. This included its initial edit which was to an AFD[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Green_Lantern:_The_Blackest_Night&diff=prev&oldid=196846369] and its next three which included a threat to "report" others if they didn't leave Clow's edit alone.[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Superman:_Doomsday&diff=prev&oldid=196846521][http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Justice_League:_The_New_Frontier&diff=prev&oldid=196846572][http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Batman:_Gotham_Knight&diff=prev&oldid=196846611]

CP went quiet at the end of May, though its second to last edit at that time was to all but level a charge of Wikistalking in a user talk thread which it had not initiated nor been directly requested to participate in.[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:J_Greb&diff=prev&oldid=215602365]

CP did reappear briefly in October creating Superman: New Krypton[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Superman:_New_Krypton&diff=prev&oldid=247086127] and uploading the image for it. Clow took over primary editing of the article along with sporadic IPs in the 216.162.220.xxx range. CP has reappeared again this month with edits to articles that Clow has shown a heavy interest in - The Flash: Rebirth where it uploaded an image for the infobox and Bucky where it reverted[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bucky&diff=284695985&oldid=283784032] to Clows preferred infobox image[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bucky&diff=266443798&oldid=266032775] (see also Talk:Bucky#Bucky image and Talk:Bucky#Herobox)

There have also been some articles that Clow gravitates to that have been heavily edited, patrolled, and/or reverted by at least two IP, 216.162.220.175 and 216.162.220.206, both of which trace to Oregon based on ARIN([http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kid_Flash&action=history] - compare the end results of 175's and 206's edits and Clows initial revert). Addendum

IP 216.162.220.236 based on [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bucky&diff=284708783&oldid=284700988] (Bucky) [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:ComicsPlace&diff=284708967&oldid=284700637] (restoring an advert to a user talk page counter to WP:UP#NOT #6) and [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Broken_City&diff=284709136&oldid=284708868] (which seems almost a silly "I'll find your edits and revert").

Based on the above difs from March 8, 2008 [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Green_Lantern:_The_Blackest_Night&diff=prev&oldid=196846369][http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Superman:_Doomsday&diff=prev&oldid=196846521][http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Justice_League:_The_New_Frontier&diff=prev&oldid=196846572][http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Batman:_Gotham_Knight&diff=prev&oldid=196846611] and the change to Bucky [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bucky&diff=284695985&oldid=283784032][http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bucky&diff=266443798&oldid=266032775] there appears to be an odd tie between CP and Clow. Coupled with Clow's attachment with the 216.162.220.xxx range makes this look like something that needs a checkuser run.

{{Likely}} Based on currently available technical and behavioral evidence, it is likely that that the two named accounts above, User:CmdrClow and User:ComicsPlace, are related.
