In the recent Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/No Alternative Media Group I was checking to see if any of the editors might have been WP:SPAs. What I discovered was an unfortunate pattern of editing the same topics with same pattern of edits. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Hollathag][https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/INetwrkk&target=INetwrkk][https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/64.254.185.240] WP:QUACK? This is my very first ever report to SPI, so if I did it incorrectly, please let me know. Thanks. Schmidt, Michael Q. 07:48, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

- They have a rather similar taste for articles. All three worked on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/No Alternative Media Group, No Alternative Media Group and Rap in Minnesota. Hollathag and the IP worked both on Minneapolis/St. Paul hip hop related articles while INetwrkk only made edits on his user page and the mentioned AfD. The Banner talk 10:53, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
- There's some definite "zomg my favourite article is being deleted" meatpuppetry happening, but I'm prepared to believe it's simply three editors who don't (yet) understand our deletion policies, rather than any blatant votestacking. You could persuade them to incubate the article in WP:AFC. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:57, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
- Comment - So, I believe these accounts are definitely connected. From 03 Sept 13, [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:INetwrkk&diff=prev&oldid=571335751 INetwrkk's edit] shows him adding a deleted article he created, U-Sity, to his user page. [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Rap_in_Minnesota&diff=prev&oldid=571345827 Hollathag's edit] shows him adding the same non-notable artist to the Rap in Minnesota article two and a half hours later. Perhaps a check of deleted contributions would show an overlap? Ishdarian 16:08, 20 September 2013 (UTC)

- {{Clerk-Note}}: Reclassifying as "more info needed". Will ping the original poster in hopes of getting more details. — Richwales (no relation to Jimbo) 20:11, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
- {{Clerk-Note}} Since the original reporter did not respond (after over four days) to my request for more details, I was about to close this SPI with no action taken. However, since the result here could be relevant to a still-open AfD (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/No Alternative Media Group), I'm going to go ahead and add diffs myself. Hollathag: [{{fullurl:Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/No_Alternative_Media_Group|diff=572479579&oldid=572466817}}], [{{fullurl:Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/No_Alternative_Media_Group|diff=572587362&oldid=572587317}}]. INetwrkk: [{{fullurl:Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/No_Alternative_Media_Group|diff=572588129&oldid=572587362}}]. 64.254.185.240: [{{fullurl:Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/No_Alternative_Media_Group|diff=572543174&oldid=572479679}}], [{{fullurl:Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/No_Alternative_Media_Group|diff=572587317&oldid=572563817}}]. Also, FWIW, I note that the IP signed his "Keep" !vote as {{u|FlieGuy}}, but no such account exists. I'm reinstating the original "CUrequest" status, but as a member of AUSC, I'm not going to either endorse or decline a CU here, but will instead leave that decision to some other SPI clerk. — Richwales (no relation to Jimbo) 02:08, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- {{Endorse}} - reluctantly. Besides the diffs Richwales found, there's substantial edits on both accounts to Gettin' Paper Still (GPS) and U-Sity that make me think that this won't go away with the AFD. Rschen7754 22:52, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
