These newly-created accounts use H:THANK feature on my edits, mostly on Qasem Soleimani article. I got 10 such "thanks" in the last few days for minor edits like {{diff||935067745||this one}}, prompting me to receive constant email notifications. There's no edits by these accounts. I'm 100% sure this is the same person, I don't know who it is, and I wonder what is he planning to do with these accounts. Triggerhippie4 (talk) 04:57, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
{{re|ST47}} I don't see his IP. Is it in Canada by any chance? --Triggerhippie4 (talk) 06:03, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

- Okay, so I started to check on the basis of the user's report and the similarities in some of the usernames and registration times. Note that the "thanks" log does not create a CU log entry, so I'm largely only able to see account creation. Here's some results:
- {{confirmed}}:
- {{checkuser|Itlook}}
- {{checkuser|Patich}}
- {{possible}}:
- {{checkuser|Itelook}}
- {{checkuser|Peppm}}
- {{checkuser|Brownuu}}
- {{checkuser|Editthen}}
- Edit-thiso is on a VPN, and therefore {{inconclusive}}.
- There are a few other user accounts on the same IP ranges but who have different subject matter interests. I'll block Patich and Peppm as single-purpose accounts, and Brownuu for the same plus for having gamed autoconfirmed. I was not able to find any link to a previously blocked master, so I don't really know what their deal is, but the odd behavior towards Triggerhippie4 plus the common editing interests - these are obviously linked. - Closed, Triggerhippie4 feel free to report any further cases, if they're on the same IP ranges as these users were we'll consider a rangeblock. ST47 (talk) 05:30, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
