I've listed Moorehaus as the puppet master because it's the oldest account even though it's stale. That account's user page has a similar set of userboxes as User:StatPak. Moorehaus, StatPak, and Solferino share the common editing behavior of adding material sourced to a "M. Nicolas J. Firzli" and to websites belonging to Firzli, such as worldpensions.org, asianeuropean.org, and canadianeuropean.com, which are presented as "think tanks". Together, they've added Firzli-sourced material to dozens of articles, using very similar language.[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Glass%E2%80%93Steagall_Act&diff=prev&oldid=379382648][http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Iran_%E2%80%93_United_States_relations&diff=prev&oldid=358421584][http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Herman_Kahn&diff=prev&oldid=418117342] When I removed that material from an article created by StatPak, and edited by no one else, Solferino complained and reverted.[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pension_regulation&action=history] Regarding locations, Firzli is apparently comes from Lebanon and is based in Paris. The accounts also edits articles related to Turkey and neighboring countries. I expect the user travels throughout Europe and the Mediterranean. Also, there were allegations of sockpuppetry in a related AFD, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The European Council (TEC), back in 2006, in which Saliferno also participated.   Will Beback  talk  07:33, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

:Response to Solferino:

:Solferino does not explain why he complained about an edit to an article by StatPak which he had never edited. Nor does he explain how it is that he and StatPak edit from the same POV, promoting the same individual (Firzli), and using the same language. Based on this report I will permanently block StatPak and will block Solferino for 24 hours.   Will Beback  talk  18:15, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

:: As I had told Will earlier (see Talk Page), I'm not using more than one account- why would I? As previously mentioned in all transparency I know StatPak- he's a collegue of mine & we share the same server/IT Platform. What difference this makes evades me;

:: I have systematically replied to all of Will's questions.... But he hasn't replied to mine- see above. Like I said: all articles referenced and/or quoted were actually PUBLISHED IN LEADING ACADEMIC REVIEWS & JOURNALS in Paris, London, Vienna, Ankara... Will's remarks ("unpublihsed blog postings"??) were all proven to be unfounded and misleading; likewise for his lack of knowledge of STANDARD publishing practices in (most) academic journals & reviews and the standard procedures pertaining to copyright ownership (FYI authors often republish their articles elsewhere when e-access to the journal is restricted by paywalls, subcriptions...etc.)

:: For the record, The CEE Council is described as a "leading European economic think-tank" by GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY (Washington), the UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO (CLEA Center), USAK-ISRO's JTW REVIEW (Ankara), the VIENNA REVIEW (Austria), EUROMONEY, EUROPE'S LEADING BANKING JOURNAL, ... etc.

:: I have nothing against Will personnally, but I can't stand censorship, even when it's unintentional, and had to refute his misbegotten pronoucements. Like I said, he didn't check the sources in question and didn't bother to read the titles of most articles he deleted: this might have been fine in the Soviet era, but not in a free, open, scholarly-oriented society.

:: I'm sorry I don't have time to argue with you: I have stated the facts (backed with all the 3rd-party links Will had required) and refuted all of Will's assertions, but I won't argue with him any longer: if wholesale censorship carries the day, well so be it. Have a nice day, --Solferino (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:06, 22 March 2011 (UTC).

  • {{checkuser|1=Solferino}} and {{checkuser|1=StatPak}} are {{confirmed}} matches. Moorehaus is {{IPstale}}, as Will points out. No comment on the IPs. TNXMan 13:23, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Seems to be a continuation of the same editing pattern. Account is focused on adding mass amounts of M. Nicolas Firzli citations and creating multiple articles based soley on M. Nicolas Firzli references. see also Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Spam#World_Pensions_Council_.2F_M._Nicolas_Firzli_CITESPAM --Hu12 (talk) 00:47, 28 February 2013 (UTC) Hu12 (talk) 00:47, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
