Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Morning277

{{Ambox|type=content|text=After consulting with a few members of the CheckUser team over the past few days, it has become apparent that this is primarily a case of meatpuppetry. SPI is here to deal with sockpuppets, NOT groups of paid editors supposedly editing together. While some of the cases may have been legitimate, a large section was archived due to the volume on which we just could not action.

If you file a case for this sockmaster, it must meet the following criteria or it may be declined and closed without action:

  1. You must be reporting a sockpuppet, not a meatpuppet
  2. It must be a user account (our ability to deal with the amount of IPs generated by this case is about null)
  3. You cannot use editing the same article or topic area as evidence
  4. You cannot use the fact that accounts might have similar views on subjects as evidence
  5. Your evidence must include a clear behavioral pattern

You may wish to contact a clerk before filling a case. This is to ensure there are more sockpuppets going through here than meatpuppets. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 18:29, 2 September 2013 (UTC)}}
