I came across this because of an edit war at Beast (2022 Indian film) in which the three users supported each other. After investigating more deeply, I saw a similar phenomenon at Vijay (actor) in which the editors would revert other users and then restore their edits using different accounts. For example, on October 16, 2022, an editor [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Vijay_(actor)&diff=prev&oldid=1116400119 reverted Ratih2000]. Ratih2000 [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Vijay_(actor)&diff=prev&oldid=1116172650 reverted back] labeling the other editor's edit vandalism (this is common in the edit wars I've seen involving these three accounts). A little over a week later, Ratih [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Vijay_(actor)&diff=prev&oldid=1118294093 reverted a different user] calling that editor a vandal. After some back-and-forth between Ratih and two users, Pauldereck [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Vijay_(actor)&diff=prev&oldid=1118299885 jumped in and restored Ratih's edit]. Other similarities: all three have one-sentence userpages; their timecards are very similar; they have very few edits outside of article space. Bbb23 (talk) 18:44, 21 August 2023 (UTC)

• {{ping|Bbb23}} I don't think that CU is going to be much use here. All three accounts are definitely using proxies at least some of the time, and I am doubtful about the IPs they're on that Spur doesn't flag as such. After opening an ANI report on two editors adding gratuitous mentions of Vijay to unrelated articles, I checked what links here for :Vijay (actor). In addition to Parrot-den and Firewaterair (reported at ANI), I found the same pattern of edits by Healove and Goodgirly, as well as Pauldereck who I saw had been blocked for sockpuppetry.

Parrot-den and Firewaterair restore each other's edits after reverts. All four being reported make a lot of edits to :Vijay (actor) and all four add similarly worded mentions of Vijay to unrelated articles and three of them falsified ref titles (just as Pauldereck did). Note: I and Courcelles had a discussion here regarding Pauldereck being a sock of Bothiman. This SPI can be moved under Bothiman if the point I raised makes any sense or its all good. <3 Jeraxmoira (talk) 17:45, 7 September 2023 (UTC)

Just like the other confirmed and suspected sockpuppets of Pauldereck, this account is also involved in promoting actor Vijay everywhere. I don't think that CheckUser is going to be much use here. It is possible that the account is using proxies. They are practically hogging the Wikipedia page of Vijay, to the extent that it is impossible for other editors to make any changes. This was the case with the previous sockpuppets as well. This can be seen from their [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Danteishere contributions]. Their language in edit summaries is also similar. As seen in [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Vijay_(actor)&diff=prev&oldid=1249760314 this diff], they sound defensive and put forth illogical arguments when promoting Vijay. 141.132.22.10 (talk) 14:37, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
