User is involved in making controversial edits to Indian G20 summit page and other Indian related pages like they did in 2023 G20 New Delhi summit

IP Whois check confirms the user is from a country from which the sockpuppeteer is suspected to be from

User-Pirate of the High Seas appears to be using IP address to make edits as an attack (or retaliation) to the pages created by me highly probable due to above events

Initially checkuser request was filed. But an administrator said that this is a sockpuppetry issue - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AThewikizoomer&diff=1174786005&oldid=1174772875.

The clerk is requested to look through the sequence of events, the sockpuppetteer resorted to retaliating attacks and hence the investigation was requested. If the clerk wants to kick me out, they may be made well aware that wikipedia users are well within their rights to flag any sockpuppet issues. The accused user's activity is clearly mentioned in the case.

Also how is the notice useless when an action was taken - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia%3AAdministrators%27_noticeboard%2FEdit_warring&diff=1174766722&oldid=1174766354

Requesting clerk to acknowledge that this issue is completely different

Sure, but why is an unrelated notice is being brought up by you?

I agree, admins can ask me not to file SPIs but isn't it too obvious that it is literally the suspect user in the case and also why can't you assume good faith, I am not trying to make up anything. This is not the page to discuss hence not commenting on unnecessary aspects

The diffs clearly lead to what incidents gave doubt to open this investigation Thewikizoomer (talk) 18:53, 10 September 2023 (UTC)

  • {{Decline}} - CheckUser evidence may not be used to connect an IP to an account. Sir Sputnik (talk) 18:02, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
  • :{{ec}} {{tq|CheckUser evidence may not be used to connect an IP to an account}} - indeed. {{u|Thewikizoomer}}, you have been previously told this by me. You have also subsequently been warned against filing deficient SPIs by an SPI clerk. In this instance, you have also filed a completely useless AN/I report. I'm afraid that competence is required on Wikipedia and you are repeatedly failing to demonstrate it. Listen to what people are telling you, and take heed of their words, please - I fear otherwise you will be shown the door. firefly ( t · c ) 18:05, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
  • ::{{u|Thewikizoomer}} - {{tq|Also how is the notice useless when an action was taken}} - I was referring to this AN/I report of yours (the one I also linked in my previous comment) rather than your AN/EW report, as part of a pattern of failing to understand how Wikipedia processes work.
  • ::Also - {{tq|If the clerk wants to kick me out, they may be made well aware that wikipedia users are well within their rights to flag any sockpuppet issues.}}. True, however SPI clerks can also ask users to cease posting at SPI "if there are problems". firefly ( t · c ) 18:24, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
  • {{awaitingadmin}} - The IP is WP:HOUNDING the filer, and it has continued after this report was opened. Please, block the IP. Given the timeline (and the timing of the IP contribs today), I'm fairly confident this is Pirate of the High Seas editing while logged out. I would suggest a temporary block to the master. Thank you. MarioGom (talk) 19:12, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
  • {{done}}, 1 week off for both - closing. firefly ( t · c ) 19:29, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
