;Suspected Sockpuppets
- {{checkuser|1=82.44.55.204}}
- {{checkuser|1=82.43.59.27}} Note: Using IP to evade ban.
- {{checkuser|1=82.43.91.177}} Note: Using IP to evade ban.
- {{checkuser|1=Avrillyria}} Note: Return of the Avril Troll.
- {{checkuser|1=Hyper Girl}} Note: Banned user known as the Avril Troll.
;Evidence submitted by — KainawTalk
User is known to be the Avril Troll:
- Best known original account is Hyper Girl noted [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Nil_Einne#Avril_acct here].
- User's wish to regain Avril account acknowledged [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:82.43.89.27#Apologies_and_suggestions here].
- User did not remotely suggest he/she was not the Avril troll in response [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Nil_Einne#Re:Apologies_and_suggestions here].
If there is doubt that this is the Avril Troll, much more evidence is available.
Note: The original account, Hyper Girl, and the latest account, Avrillyria, are blocked indefinitely. This is a banned user.
Continued issues: A range block was agreed to due to the users purposeful disruption of the Reference Desks [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/IncidentArchive599#Disruptive_refusal_to_sign_at_the_reference_desks_2 here].
Although it is not normal to allow a banned user to continue evading a ban through an anonymous IP address, good faith was assumed and the user's IP range was blocked for a short time in an attempt to make the user understand that his/her practice of disrupting the reference desk was not tolerated.
User returned and attempted again to disrupt the reference desk with an [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk:Reference_desk&diff=346913669&oldid=346910751 "apology"] that made two blatantly false statements:
- Claimed that users were referring to him/her as another banned user.
- Claimed that nobody has asked the user privately to stop the disruptive behavior.
The apology was symbolic of the user's disruptive behavior. He/she makes a post which is designed to incite debate (in this case, making two blatantly false statements) and the user refuses to sign the post after being told to do so.
User is continuing to make a point of not signing posts and has upped the annoyance factor by now [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Computing&diff=prev&oldid=347376942 not indenting].
When confronted with this evidence, user reverted to complete vandal behavior using [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/82.43.91.177 IP to evade block].

;Conclusions
- For some history here, CUs and admins please see [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Undelete&target=Wikipedia%3ARequests+for+checkuser%2FCase%2FAvril+Vandal×tamp=20081028044803]. As for the above IPs, all have been blocked with the exception of 82.43.59.27 as it has not made any edits, maybe you meant {{checkip|82.43.91.76}} (blocked)? I also had a CheckUser look into this and have blocked a few other named sockpuppets. I ask that per WP:DENY we do not tag the sockpuppets, and that this case not be added to WP:SPI/C. This user account was created as soon as a block of many of the Avril Troll's accounts were blocked.
The use of this account is identical to the Avril Troll's use.
It is assumed that this is another sock of the Avril Troll, who is under indef. block.

Could you please list the socks? The ones currently are the default ones. Elockid (Talk·Contribs) 17:44, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
:If there is only the one account to report (R22elial), it has already been blocked. TNXMan 19:21, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
::The problem here is this is a sock of the Avril Troll. His standard practice is to create 10-20 accounts and use those until they are all blocked. Then, he makes 10-20 more. I do not know of a "proper" way to tell administrators: "I am 99.99% certain that this is an Avril Troll sock. Please block it." -- kainaw™ 20:45, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
:::I understand what you're saying. This account is already blocked. Since you haven't listed any more accounts to review, I'm not sure what you would like done next. TNXMan 21:55, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
::::The only one that I know of at this time that hasn't already been blocked is Special:Contributions/Dendalonger. As with all the others, the reason for the suspicion is that the account was created at the same time his other socks were created, it is used to ask very borderline questions on the Reference Desk, and the posts are never signed. Without a CU, it is not possible to know for certain it is the AT, but I would be absolutely amazed if it wasn't. -- kainaw™ 00:38, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
:::::I've added one that fits the pattern as well. TNXMan 21:58, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
{{endorse}} self-endorse for sleepers + IP. Also, I'm sure there was a case previously opened for this user, but I can't seem to find it now. If anyone else can, the please let me know and I'll move this case there. SpitfireTally-ho! 14:13, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
:It is [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Avril_Vandal]. I was told not to use it because this particular troll gets off on seeing how many of his socks will get listed there. -- kainaw™ 14:18, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
{{clerknote}} Once this check is completed and the accounts are blocked please delete this page per WP:DENY SpitfireTally-ho! 14:27, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
{{clerk note}} Moved archive of original report to here because R22elial is a registered username while Avril Troll isn't. Elockid (Talk·Contribs) 16:01, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
:{{done}} - No unblocked accounts found, Kandorko blocked. I have not blocked Specialagent777 as they've been running around for a long time and aren't using the same browser. Double-check them, please, but it's quite {{likely}} from a technical standpoint. Hersfold (t/a/c) 03:14, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
::{{Admin-note}} Specialagent777 and the IP that account used seem to be asking questions in a completely different style, and of a slightly more mature theme. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 15:51, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
