Time to clean out the sockdrawer again. Behavioural evidence ([http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Rowan_Cole&diff=prev&oldid=271566527 correcting random errors] [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Bruce_Roselle&diff=prev&oldid=271580337 in archived discussions], [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:WTF%3F_OMG!_TMD_TLA._ARG!&diff=prev&oldid=270504931 minor edits] [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:WTF%3F_OMG!_TMD_TLA._ARG!&diff=prev&oldid=270709073 to projectspace pages], [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?limit=50&tagfilter=&title=Special%3AContributions&contribs=user&target=O%27delaquatique&namespace=0&year=&month=-1 a minor obsession with actresses and moving to 'correct' pagenames]) indicates that this is Tom once again, as does the similarity in usernames to User:O'delanca and User:Mrs. U. I. O. P., Mr. O'. de la Qwerty, both CU'd as socks. In light of the recent insanity on Jimbo's tpage from (allegedly) Tom's father, as well as the other username and IP listed above, I suggest a CU and a quick nip in the bud.

{{Endorse}} The edits are certainly consistent with being made by somebody who is on the Autistic spectrum, but that doesn't really prove that it is this master, so a CU will clear things up. Mayalld (talk) 22:10, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Seems pretty straightforward. Declares on his userpage that Tmwps are his initials; Tmwps = Thomas Michael William Patrick Sales (which has been posted before, unless my mind is playing tricks on me). Same obsession with certain projectspace articles (e.g. [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Assume_bad_faith&diff=prev&oldid=278116076 WP:ABF]), templates obsessions, actresses, correcting typos on pages (esp. talk pages, [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Augustaboulanger&diff=prev&oldid=277619626 e.g.]), that sort of thing. Plus the [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Tmwps&oldid=276998842 userpage] has a link to [http://micronations.eu], a quick scan of the top page of which lands us [http://micronations.eu/forum/index.php?topic=2612.0 here] (a posting about the so-called Duchy of Effenhauer), which again shows the Thomas Michael etc etc link to Tmwps.
Time for another cleanout of the sockdrawer. //roux 14:47, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

I don't think this qualifies as fishing.. seeing the contribs of this user reveals some quacking; the usual nitpicky corrections, idiosyncratic enforcement of policy, pokemon obsession, etc. A CU familiar with the past umpteen Tom Sayle socks should investigate this. There's usually a lot of sleepers, a small blockable range and a large unblockable one. //roux 17:43, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Also [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Category:SPI_requests_for_pre-CheckUser_review&diff=prev&oldid=286247314 this weird and unnecessary category edit], [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Magioladitis&diff=prev&oldid=286246987 more spelling correction], [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/ColourWolf&diff=prev&oldid=286242106 more spelling correction, this time on another SPI case]... this is just getting very silly now. [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Tom_Sayle&diff=prev&oldid=286248017 This] too is typical TS behaviour, following the usual pattern of accuse, deny, present evidence, deny, out self or be outed by CU. //roux 16:11, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

{{Decline}} Usually when I look at past histories, I would recommend a CU. However, I think Pokemanic is genuine, given his newbie mistakes in using templates. Furthermore, I haven't seen any socks so far used the {{tl|helpme}} [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Pok%C3%A9maniac_Thomas&oldid=285886899] OhanaUnitedTalk page 15:28, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
::Actually, I'm fairly certain that TS socks have used {{tl|helpme}} in the past, and the question is very typical TS. As are things like [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Uncle_G&diff=prev&oldid=286241680 correcting minor typos on other users' pages], [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Zap&diff=prev&oldid=286225624 typo corrections to old projectspace pages that haven't been touched in months], [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Category:User_pages_containing_stolen_content&diff=prev&oldid=286009913 creation of strange categories, particularly related to userpages], and then this series of edits to the help page for categories, which are his fourth through tenth (or so) edits: [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:FAQ/Categories&diff=prev&oldid=285887291][http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:FAQ/Categories&diff=prev&oldid=285887405][http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:FAQ/Categories&diff=prev&oldid=285887807][http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:FAQ/Categories&diff=prev&oldid=285888007]. :Would you be able to give examples of other {{tl|helpme}}s?--Pokémaniac Thomas (talk) 15:52, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
::I'm not digging through dozens of socks to find it. I could be wrong, but the other evidence stands on its own. Oh, and this is the standard pattern of exposure, too: point out someone is a TS sock, TS claims no way, evidence presented, TS says prove it, more evidence presented, TS either outs himself or is caught by CU. Ohana, really, this is getting silly. //roux 16:03, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

::Its getting more ridiculous waiting than you're saying that I am.--Pokémaniac Thomas (talk) 16:47, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
:::Tom, we both know who you are, and we both know that you are banned from using Wikipedia--not to mention every other website I've found where you perpetrate your Duchy of Effenhauer stuff. Please stop wasting our time. You do this every time you are found, you pretend it's not you, and then low and behold, it is. How about doing two things differently? One, admit it. Two, leave and don't come back. You abused your editing privileges severely enough that you wouldn't have been allowed back anyway; evading your block guarantees you will never be allowed to freely edit here ever again. Stop wasting everyone's time. //roux 16:52, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
:For goodness sake, stop asking me to admit that I am someone that you know I'm not. I'm actually starting to enjoy you not only taunting me, but goading me on. At least you're saving me money on haircuts.--Pokémaniac Thomas (talk) 17:18, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
{{Clerk Request}} Alright, both parties quit your arguing. I'm going to ask another clerk/trainee clerk to come and see what we should do from here. OhanaUnitedTalk page 17:27, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
:{{endorsed}} Looking over the case, I see compelling arguments in both directions. There certainly is evidence to indicate that the user may be a sock, and there is reason to believe otherwise, too. In such a case, it is better to request a check—if it turned out to be unnecessary far less harm was done than if it was indeed needed. — Jake Wartenberg 17:32, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

On Thomas Sayle's [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Tom_Sayle&diff=prev&oldid=226504699 first edit to his user page], he says that his real name is Thomas Michael William Patrick Sales.
