As of Oct. 19th, 2016, the IP editor (86.84.247.233) had made 861 edits. Of those, 259 were to the same 98 articles edited by XPanettaa.

I left a message for XPanettaa [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:XPanettaa&diff=745198416&oldid=744636581 here] to inquire if they were inadvertently editing while logged out, but XPanettaa replied [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:XPanettaa&diff=next&oldid=745198416 here] saying "I don't think that I'm logged out, I'm logged in. However, I think that someone is using my PD address despite I'm making edits while logged in, but it wasn't me."

My understanding is that "editors may not use more than one account to contribute to the same page or discussion in a way that suggests they are multiple people".

  • At Riggi & Piros: [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Riggi_%26_Piros&diff=745188055&oldid=745187982 Here] XPanettaa removed a link, and then [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Riggi_%26_Piros&diff=next&oldid=745188055 here] the IP editor added it back.
  • At Wall Recordings: [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?oldid=744791470&diff=prev Here] XPanettaa "removed people without indication, evidence or independent source, deemed not appropriate or relevant" from an article, but also changed some band names to names which are very unique, for example "FIGHT CLVB". Another editor added the names back to the article. Then, [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wall_Recordings&diff=745328652&oldid=745300487 here], the IP editor removed the band names again, but also changed some band names to names which are very unique, and one of them was "FIGHT CLVB".
  • [https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Yann&diff=prev&oldid=205553978 Here] the IP editor left a message on the talk page of an administrator at Wikipedia Commons, directing the administrator to read a talk page on English Wikipedia. Follow the link and you find [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Yann&diff=737571175&oldid=737105856 this] heartfelt appeal to that administrator from XPanettaa; it seems the both XPanettaa and the IP editor have been blocked from editing on the Commons because of sockpuppetry.

As well, XPanettaa states on their talk page that "this user has Dutch as their native language", while the IP editor is registered to the Netherlands. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:06, 20 October 2016 (UTC)

;Comments from Graeme Bartlett

Is there any problematic editing going on? Behaviorally it looks to be the same editor, but it seems just to be an error and a failure of XPanettaa to notice not being logged in. At https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia%3ARequests_for_undeletion&oldid=704137896#Logos of the digital channels of the NPO you can see them being the same person. But there is no intended deception going on. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:30, 20 October 2016 (UTC)

:Even after a warning was left on XPanettaa's talk page, they used the IP to revert [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Doorn_Records&diff=745329704&oldid=745318402 this] edit. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:19, 20 October 2016 (UTC)

::{{ping|Magnolia677}} I've laid discussed and my friend, who used my IP address while I'm logged in, has gotten a lot of past. I just saw my friend using my IP address illegitimately, despite I'm making edits while logged in. I asked him to stop using my IP address and he did. But he doesn't seem like the issues have stopped there. He have repeatedly used my IP address illegitimately, after I made an edit while logged in. I think that he made a mistake. • IP blocked. The explanation above is not credible, and the behavioral similarities are clear. Requesting a CheckUser to run a check against {{noping|Fox Tanawa-Bamba}} based on [https://tools.wmflabs.org/sigma/editorinteract.py?users=XPanettaa&users=Fox+Tanawa-Bamba&users=&startdate=&enddate=&ns=&server=enwiki this interaction report] against XPanettaa and [https://tools.wmflabs.org/sigma/editorinteract.py?users=86.84.247.233&users=Fox+Tanawa-Bamba&users=&startdate=&enddate=&ns=&server=enwiki this interaction report] against the IP, which has a minimum time between edits as short as 9 minutes. ~ Rob13Talk 21:33, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
  • {{clerknote}} Black Kite has blocked XPanettaa but for copyvios and IDHT tendencies, not sockpuppetry, but I agree with BU Rob13's assessment. I also agree with Graeme Bartlett that there doesn't seem to have been any intentional deception occurring, but the IP editing after the account was blocked is block evasion; BU Rob13 caught that already. There is a lot of overlap between both XPanettaa and the IP with Fox Tanawa-Bamba, but there are also at least a few instances of XPanettaa/the IP adding something and Fox removing it, or vice-versa. Technical data will help call this one, therefore this is {{endorsed}} to check the named accounts to each other; as usual CheckUsers will not comment on the IP. Returned today after a week block and instantly began removing AfD notices and editing on the usual Dutch EDM articles as is clear from today's editing history. Repeatedly recreating [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bougenvilla&type=revision&diff=747303765&oldid=744842777 this page] with similarly poor sources and similar information etc (not sure if exactly the same as the original as it was recently deleted). Has also edited Curbi and Spinnin' Records, both of which have had a fair bit of attention from XPanettaa. Nikthestunned 17:39, 1 November 2016 (UTC)

After a month ban for block evasion the anon IP began editing again on the 9 December, the first edit removing the warnings from the Talk page [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:86.84.247.233&diff=prev&oldid=753816321 here], clearly indicating violation. Hi. I can assure you I am not a sock puppet or guilty of sock puppetry, the account named XPanettaa that I've (for to me unknown reasons) been linked to is in no way associated with me, and I did not use the operating device of the guy who is the owner of the account XPanettaa (which I didn't use and therefore only used by him), which he is logged into Wikipedia, as well into other projects, I used another operating device, which he didn't use and which he is not (yet) logged into Wikipedia, as well into other projects. Also this IP address I am using, has been subsequently passed over to me and as he wasn't using the IP address, I used it for a while. I do expect this IP address to be spared for I am not guilty. If any proof is necessary please let me know what you need so I can provide. --86.84.247.233 (talk) 15:36, 20 December 2016 (UTC)

Block evasion, perhaps using a related school IP. Usual electronic music edits and became active after the last IP was blocked for a similar offence. Karst (talk) 10:43, 22 December 2016 (UTC)

Hello, I can assure you I'm not a sock puppet or guilty of sock puppetry, the account XPanettaa and the IP 86.84.247.233 that I've (for to me unknown reasons) been linked to are in no way associated with me, and I am therefore unrelated to them. I have also never used them before. I am however the user of another anonymous IP but don't have an account etc. I do expect this IP to be spared for I am not guilty. If any proof is necessary please let me know what you need so I can provide. --141.138.146.132 (talk) 13:17, 22 December 2016 (UTC)

  • Comment - Both IPs (141.138.146.132 and 86.84.247.233) have edited Spinnin' Records, as well as the fairly obscure Sky Radio (Sky Radio gets just 407 views per month). Also, both IPs are registered to RIPE Internet in The Netherlands. Two very unique coincidences that need some explaining. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:11, 22 December 2016 (UTC)

::User:XPanettaa has also edited the obscure Sky Radio article, and has posted on his talk page that he is from The Netherlands. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:47, 22 December 2016 (UTC)

Block evasion, previously [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log/block&page=User:141.138.146.132 duck-blocked] by Mkdw (see 22 December 2016 case). The IP became active again and started editing electronic music-related articles. — Zawl 11:14, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
