- Maurice Doubleday has edited the {{la|Anthony Pollina}} page numerous times, deleting criticisms of Mr. Pollina, and adding content that clearly violates the NPOV policy (see, for instance, this sequence of edits: [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anthony_Pollina&diff=229531697&oldid=229326427]). He has been warned about this on {{lat|Anthony Pollina}}, where he has also admitted that he is associated with the Pollina campaign. I have confirmed that he is associated with the Pollina campaign by talking to them; they said that he was in charge of putting up some information about Mr. Pollina and "deleting some lies" that other people had posted, and they claimed that they were not aware of the neutral point of view policy.
- Since his last batch of edits were reverted [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anthony_Pollina&diff=229906529&oldid=229531697], he hasn't posted anything further to the article. However, in the last few days, several other new users have appeared, each deleting criticisms of Mr. Pollina and adding text copied verbatim from the campaign website.
- Qwertyvt has one edit [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anthony_Pollina&diff=248135351&oldid=247994425], which deletes a criticism of Mr. Pollina that has been deleted and added back before.
- Validvt has two edits, one of them a minor reorg, while the other copies in a large amount of text from the campaign's website [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anthony_Pollina&diff=248441844&oldid=248352445]; compare [http://www.anthonypollina.com/about.htm] and [http://www.anthonypollina.com/issue_healthcare.htm] to the diff to see how information has been copied word for word from the website.
- I reverted those edits, and made a few more minor cleanups of the Anthony Pollina page.
- Union00009 has one edit [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anthony_Pollina&diff=prev&oldid=248541693], which simple adds back the content from Validvt. It also reverts the changes I made in between.
- After reverting that as well, Kevinharris4 came and added back a slightly edited down version of the same information [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anthony_Pollina&diff=248555341&oldid=248546325], again reverting the changes I have made.
- I notified other editors on Wikipedia:Editor assistance/Requests and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view/Noticeboard, and User:Someguy1221 came by to revert the changes from Kevinharris4 (since I didn't want to be involved in an edit war or break the WP:3RR).
- Now another new user with no prior edits, Someguyalso has come by and has put the information back in (in a slightly edited form), with an edit comment "Reverting vandalism" [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anthony_Pollina&diff=248606681&oldid=248564132].

;Conclusions
I've blocked all the accounts in the sock section but stopped short of saying Maurice Doubleday himself is involved. He stopped editing in August, the rest have done nearly identical edits, all in late October until the article was protected. Probably academic now, post-election. See you back at that article in a few years. —Wknight94 (talk) 17:33, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
