Similar username style. Nearly identical editing and format style in the start pages and other editing histories for articles concerning, or related to John H. Meier and a book about him Age of Secrets, as well as a relative Jim Meier including various redirect pages (Johnny meier, Meier, Jimmy Meier, etc.)

Most of the similar edits and contributions occurred around the end of January 2008, when all of these users first started editing. Therefore, the problem may have gone stale, but I feel its worth keeping tabs on. Alcarillo (talk) 16:15, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Absolutely ridiculous! Alcarillo obviously has a personal problem with me for comments I have made about him on other sites, which where valid points and others have shared, its a shame people like Alcarillo exist on WP as people like him are a detriment to what WP stands for. I didn't make that many edits to either site, and I never edited anything on Jim Meier which Alcarillo states that he thinks is some conspiracy to sell a book that was published over 12 years ago! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Peterx45678 (talk • contribs) 17:33, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

: Thanks for looking into this. I didn't think to include Editor47321 since there's only one edit attributed to that user. As for the other case mentioned above, I've not noticed any red-flag activity on the pages I'm watching from that user or suspected sockpuppets. Alcarillo (talk) 18:07, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

  • I find that all accounts listed above are very likely the same editor, or closely associated editors working toward a common business/promotional goal. They have appear to have been abusing multiple accounts to evade scrutiny, and to engage in edit warring. I am going to indefinitely block all of them. Jehochman Talk 19:22, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
