• All 4 of these users appear to exist solely to spam for a specific motel in the very small town of Abiquiú, New Mexico.
• The sock puppet appears to have kept the IP address 207.155.127.116 since at least 2008-02-21 to the present, with edits by the registered accounts often near the same times.
• URLs: They always add either casitadechuparosa.com or abiquiu.net (a silent redirect to www.casitadechuparosa.com). Once these are blocked, user will probably try www.vrbo.com/96356 (linked from www.casitadechuparosa.com), but hasn't yet.
• Main article targeted is Abiquiú, New Mexico — it has spammed this article at least 16 times between 2007-09-11 and 2008-10-15, and most reverts on this article are in response to this spammer. All 4 accounts above have hit this article. Earliest ones are:

• {{User|Seatreker}} appears to have been created to try and create a spam article about this motel ("Casita de chuparosa", which was speedy-deleted and matches the account name of one of the other sock puppets). It also added the same spamlink as usual; and now that 207.155.127.116 has been blocked, Seatreker has re-appeared.
• {{User|Jeffinabiquiu}} also spammed other articles before going dormant.

• I picked Seatreker as the main account only because it's the currently active one. The most active is anonymous 207.155.127.116; the one that has hit different articles was the earliest, Jeffinabiquiu. --Closeapple (talk) 07:30, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
• By the way, the reason that the IP isn't active is that I blocked it for 24 hours for spamming before Closeapple filed this case. I'm a little confused about the "vrbo" website (not sure exactly what's meant by that), but everything else makes sense, so finding these three users and this IP sockpuppets seems quite reasonable. • About that vrbo.com website: It's the official link for "dialup users" from the motel's own website, and goes to some sort of timeshare site that also advertises the same motel. I mentioned it in advance because, once casitadechuparosa\.com and abiquiu\.net are both added to the URL blacklist, I suspect that this specific vrbo.com page listed above will be the next one to appear in linkspam, as whatever is left of the sock puppet attempts to evade the blocks further. --Closeapple (talk) 03:52, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
