Because the mw software creates a single ToC at the top of the page, multiple test cases on this page will end up all appearing in the unique ToC, a confusing and undesirable result if we want to isolate test results and compare sandbox with live.

So to run these tests, all test cases except one should be <-- commented out --> except the one you are testing. Each sandbox or live test case contains a hatnote saying it is active; only one such hatnote should be visible on this entire page for the test to be valid; if you see more than one hatnote (or none) your test results are invalid, and there is a problem with the comment delimiters somewhere.

When everything is set up correctly, one end comment delimiter (-->) will be visible at the end of the active test case; this is normal; ignore it.
