• Merge or delete: There are several states in {{tl|List of Arab capitals}} that are not in {{tl|Capitals of Arab countries}}, namely Chad, Eritrea and the SADR. I think the difference between the two templates is that {{tl|Capitals of Arab countries}} lists countries with an Arab majority (and excludes the partially-recognized SADR), while {{tl|List of Arab capitals}} lists all countries that officially speak Arabic. These templates should all be deleted per past precedents to deprecate and delete such navboxes. Templates for the U.S. state of Georgia were all deleted in May 2013, Washington state in July 2012 and Michigan in December 2011. Past nominations have centered around using categories such as :Category:Transportation in Anderson County, Texas to group the articles instead of these navboxes. Should the remaining missing navboxes be created, there would be 254 total such templates for Texas, 24 of which would appear at the bottom of Interstate 10 in Texas. That article has 14 of them split into a group of 6 and a group of 8. Imzadi 1979 → 23:01, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

• Save - The arguments by Imzadi1979 to delete are all valid but I disagree. (a) No Texas highway navbox that I've seen breaks the "rule of five" spelled out in WP:NENAN. (b) I find it useful that the navbox is the only place where all highways in a county are listed, including those without articles. (c) The Transportation in xxx County category only lists the highways with articles, leaving the reader to wrongly assume that's all there are. (d) The vast majority of highways span from 1 to a few counties, so the number of navboxes is low. (e) I've only created 1 or 2 of these navboxes. The proposal would delete a lot of time and effort by others and I can appreciate how they might not like it. Djmaschek (talk) 02:11, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

• Delete all to quicken edit-preview as categories. Page "Interstate 10 in Texas" reformats at 52-58 of 60-second timeout, and I am creating new fast Template:JctUS to reduce time to 20 seconds, but omitting the 14 county-road navboxes would shave another 3-4 seconds of Lua navboxes. -Wikid77 10:13, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
