The most viewed articles for March 2004, derived from historical data scattered in various places on the English Wikipedia, wikimedia.org, and elsewhere.

The March 2004 statistics were first posted at Wikipedia:Popular_pages on [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Popular_pages&oldid=3028884 March 31, 2004]. That report was limited to pages exceeding 10,000 hits for the month. The list includes the Main Page (unlike the way the WP:TOP25 is currently done), but the list was curated to exclude non-article pages. Some of the source data on which this report was derived is preserved at archive.org from wikipedia.org/stats/en.wikipedia.org See [https://web.archive.org/web/20060203185133/http://wikimedia.org/stats/en.wikipedia.org/usage_200403.html]. That chart only tracked the top 50 URLS, which ended with Oral sex (13,211, #25 below). The creator derived the below chart from a list of all URL pageviews, see Wikipedia_talk:Popular_pages#The_script
