Welcome to WikiProject FBI! This WikiProject was founded to systematically organize all the information on Wikipedia related to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The project's focus is to centralize the efforts of many Wikipedians to help make Wikipedia the best free resource when it comes to information about the subject.
The project started in July 2006 and members are needed to get this project and the related material up to standards. The main goal is to improve as many articles to Good Article and Featured Article status.
If you're interested, please add your name to the members list below and look over the articles that have already been created. You can also start a new article if you find a related subject that is not covered. Discussions or questions should be directed to the talk page.
Remember, the WikiProject is open to all editors and is not approved, endorsed, nor authorized by the FBI in any way.

Naming conventions
Name of Articles
- Lists should be: List of FBI...
- Ten Most Wanted Fugitives article names should be the full name: First Middle Last
Referring to the FBI
- Do not use the acronym FBI until you have used Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) or Federal Bureau of Investigation at least once.
- Sometimes it might be needed to explain that this organization refers to the United States. In that case you can do ... is a division of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation ...'
'''Referring to a "Department" or "Unit"
- Until it is used once, the full department should be used following the acronym.
- Example: Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) (Article on HRT); Linking to: Hostage Rescue Team (HRT)
- Note: It should only be bold, like above, if it's about the subject. Refer to: WP:MOS.
