1. Go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Food and drink/Members/participants. Press the [edit source] tab.
2. Find your name, it should be formatted as the following:

{{y}} {{Mailing list member|user=YOUR USERNAME}}

It will show as:

{{y}} {{Mailing list member|user=Example}}

1. Change {{tl|y}} to {{tl|n}}, and add |totarget=yes after your username, so it becomes the following:

{{n}} {{Mailing list member|user=YOUR USERNAME|notarget=yes}}

It'll become the following...

{{n}} {{Mailing list member|user=Example|notarget=yes}}

1. Go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Food and drink/Newsletters/Notifications List. Press the [edit source] tab.
2. Find your name, like you did in the previous step.
3. Completely erase the template that includes your name. For example, you should erase the following format: # {{Mailing list member|user=YOUR USERNAME}}
