; Project news

This is the sixth Newsletter of the Wikiproject Greece! Please comment on its form, the way it is delivered , its content etc. We need your ideas and contributions!
The New articles section has been restructured. It is now completely based on the AlexNewArtBot, giving, however, the opportunity to editors to add articles they think the bot missed. Manual maintenance of the page failed!!
Our [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Greece/Assessment#Quality_scale quality scale] includes now C-Class, which is however listed there for illustrative reasons and should not be used to assess an article within the scope of the project till there is a consensus between the project members about its use!
A very useful Cleanup listing for the project is now available and updated by WolterBot!
Our {{tl|WikiProject Greece}} project banner template has been renamed as part of theWikipedia:WikiProject Council/Banner standardisation.
You can now visit out new comprehensive showcase page.
A new Athens task force has been created.

; Current proposals and discussions

A new discussion about whether our project should adopt C-Class is underway. All comments are welcome and needed in order to reach a consensus!

; Articles' improvement drive

The first collaborative mission of our project for the improvement of an article is now official! Our goal is to bring the Greek War of Independence to GA status till the end of September! Your assistance is expected!
The FA status of 1896 Olympic Games was comfirmed during the relevant August FAR.
You can help us improve the history section of the Attica article.
Two peer-reviews are still open in the reviews department of our project, and the nominators expect your input.
