  • People (Born, living, died)-in. Leaders in their field, and sports people.
  • Places (Cities, towns, Historical buildings, Roads)
  • Geography (Mountains, Rivers, Lakes, Parks);

as well as templates and categories.

This project was formed to better organize information in articles related to the U.S. state of Idaho. This page and its subpages contain various suggestions to help focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please introduce yourself on the talk page and add your signature to the "Participants" section below. You are also welcome to add our user template to your user page.

Scope

This project shall coordinate the creation and editing of articles related to the U.S. State Idaho, its cities, sites, history, etc. It aims primarily to expand Wikipedia's resources on Idaho and present the state in a fair and accurate manner.

Project Divisions

Each of these area has notes and decisions from discussions pertaining to their particular sub-topic (as it relates to Idaho).

Our broad of areas include: (Task forces or Work Groups)

  • Communities (talk)—Cities and towns
  • Physical geography (talk)— Regions, parks, climate, physical features
  • Transportation (talk)— Roads, trails, rail, ferries, and airplanes in and around Idaho
  • Culture (talk)— Education, music, art, religion, icons, mass communication
  • People (talk)—Includes Idaho natives and those residents who have shaped Idaho
  • Government (talk)—Government: federal, state and local politics and politicians in relation to Idaho.
  • History (talk)—History of Idaho during and prior to statehood
  • Economy (Talk)—Major Idaho industries, employers, trends, and history relating to the economy of Idaho
