• As part of the project's New Year's Reolutions, there is an ongoing effort to decrease the number of stubs to 10%. As of May 10, we are at 11.64%, with 483 articles currently in :Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if members would expand, source an improve stub articles, and a list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers that should be fairly easy to improve.
• Based on the members list, there are currently 222 members participating in WikiProject Professional wrestling.

• On the May 12 episode of ECW on Sci Fi, Harry Smith made his ECW debut, using the ring name "David Hart Smith".
• On May 17:
• Ric Flair returned to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) at Judgment Day.
• Tyler Black defeated Jimmy Jacobs to become the Mr. Chainsaw Production Wrestling World Champion.
• Lacey Von Erich was diagnosed with meningitis, after being taken to hospital with a constant migraine.
• On May 18:
• WWE confirmed the rebranding of The Great American Bash to simply The Bash.
• El Hijo del Santo returned to Asistencia Asesoría y Administración at their television tapings for the first time since 1995.
• Florida Championship Wrestling wrestler Fifi suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
• Due to a double booking of the Pepsi Center in Denver with a game from the NBA Playoffs, WWE announced on May 20 that the May 25 episode of Raw was to be moved to to the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
• On May 22
• Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) announced that Shane Sewell had been released from his contract.
• Chikara announced that the Young Lions Cup champion Equinox had suffered an ankle injury; he will be sidelined for approximately four weeks.

This is a section in the newsletter devoted to help familiarize project members with the Manual of Style and general editing tips.

1. Trivia sections are discouraged in wikipedia articles. Information from such sections, if notable, should be merged into the main body of the article.
2. Avoid adding statements that will date quickly, for example "soon" and "now".
3. Avoid using dirtsheets as sources. Adhere to WP:RS when adding information with a source to articles. For a list of reliable and unreliable wrestling-related sources see Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Style guide#Sources.
4. The lead section of an article should introduce the subject and summarize the entire article's contents. The size of the lead will depend on the size of the article.
5. Avoid using bolding to emphasize text. See MOS:BOLD for appropriate uses of bold text.
