==Create your userpage==
32px Take a look at the information Wikipedia provides about userpages.
- The “[http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ee/How_to_create_a_userpage.pdf Creating a userpage]” document will walk you through the steps involved in setting up your userpage.
- Review this WikiMarkup Cheatsheet as you begin your edits.
==Edit your userpage==
32px Click the “Edit” tab (located between “Read” and “View History”) to make several edits to your userpage.
- Include as much or as little personal information as you’d like.
- Add a Userbox to your userpage to identify yourself as part of the Public art project. Insert the following code to the top of your userpage:
{{userboxtop}}
{{User:UBX/Public art}}
{{userboxbottom}}

==Complete the tutorial==
==Short (but important!) readings==
32px It is important that you read about the Five Pillars of Wikipedia.
- Read at least the introductory sections (and more, if you desire) of the following articles:
- # Neutral Point of View Policy
- # No Original Research Policy
- # Verifiability Policy
==The next step==
32px Once you've completed the above tutorials and readings, you're ready to return to the E-Volunteer main page and move on to the next step.
- If you're not in an E-Volunteer program, but would like to move on with creating an article, you can return to the Get started page or move on to the Public art showcase for more ways you can help.
