• The goal of this WikiProject is to provide complete coverage on subjects related to South Dakota, by expanding articles on people, places, and things resident or native to South Dakota.

• This project proposes to work with all pages related to the state of South Dakota, its history, geography, and people. Specific examples of the articles that will fall under this project's scope can be found at this list.

Timeline of South Dakota - I would love project members' input on this article. In particular, it draws significantly on Doane Robinson's (public domain) text. Some of his language is no longer in use (e.g., "half bloods") and I'm faced with a dilemma of whether to keep the State Historian's language in quotations or modernize it or change nothing.
