Welcome to the 2018 Featured Topic Project of WikiProject Tropical cyclones. You may join the [https://discord.gg/ydnZmex 2018 Featured Topic Project discord] by clicking the link.

Scope

  • The 2018 Featured Topic Project encompasses all articles during the year 2018. The goal of this special project is to get a featured topic for the year 2018 with featured subtopics for multiple basins.

Participants

  • Please add your name and what basins you have been or will be working in.
  1. {{user|KN2731}} ~ EPAC & WPAC
  2. {{user|Typhoon2013}} ~ WPAC
  3. {{user|CooperScience}} ~ ATL & EPAC
  4. {{user|Hurricanehink}} - I'll help out when I can, likely NIO, maybe 17-18 SWIO
  5. {{user|Destroyeraa}} - Atl, will eventually help out in the Australian region
  6. {{user|MarioJump83}} - My work is primarily bringing up drafts, and helping with getting GAs in the articles I have worked in. Do not confuse me with more established WPTC member MarioProtIV, and I was formerly known as SMB99thx. Currently: working on Cyclone Owen.
  7. LightandDark2000 🌀 (talk) – Mostly active in ATL & EPAC topics, though I can also help out in other basins.
  8. {{user|Chicdat}} - what I can do
  9. {{user|Akbermamps}} - WPAC and SHEM
  10. {{user|CodingCyclone}} - Timelines.
  11. {{user|Flux55}} - Primarily interested in SHEM
  12. {{user|JCMLuis}} - WPAC

To-do

=To-do items for members of the 2018 Featured Topic Project=

  • Work on improving coverage of WPAC storms; basin rating = 3.93 (C) - High Priority
  • Work on improving coverage of SHEM storms; basin rating = 4.55 (Start) - High Priority
  • Work on improving coverage of NIO storms; basin rating = 3.88 (C) - 1 or 2 people needed
  • Improve Michael and Florence in the ATL, which are at C-class - 2 or 3 people needed for each
