All territory-maintained highways in Puerto Rico including all Interstate Highways and Puerto Rico-numbered highways, and any other road-related transportation articles of note. The goal is to organize, standardize, and expand the articles on highways in Puerto Rico to be a broad, comprehensive, and recognized resource.

Articles should follow WP:USRD/STDS.

Articles should be titled "Puerto Rico Highway X" per WP:USSH.

The various shield graphics are located in Category:Puerto Rico highway shields on Commons. {{tl|jct}} can create the various links to highway articles with the appropriate shield graphics for use in the infobox or junction lists.

Articles should be placed in the following categories as appropriate:

• :Category:Highways in Puerto Rico for most highways
• :Category:Toll roads in Puerto Rico for toll highways
• :Category:Interstate Highways in Puerto Rico for highways that are also part of the Interstate Highway System on the island

Use {{tl|infobox road}} or {{tl|infobox road junction}} as needed for articles. The state and type parameters should each contain the territory's postal abbreviation. For urban primary, secondary or tertiary highways, use the same type codes as the junction template.

Use {{tl|jct}} to create the entries in a junction list section for the article, or the junction list in the infobox. The following type codes work for Puerto Rico:

• I, for the unsigned Interstate Highways
• PR, for primary highways
• Urban, for urban primary highways
• Sec, for secondary highways
• Ter, for tertiary highways

To use, insert {{jct|state=PR|type |number}} into the article. If two to four highways are needed, use {{jct|state=PR|first type|first number|second type|second number}}. Further instructions can be found on the documentation page.
