• Northern Virginia Task Force covers any part of Virginia included in the Washington D.C Metropolitan Area and the surrounding counties. It does not cover any other parts of the Metro region. The area generally includes the counties of Fairfax, Loudoun, Faquier, Arlington, Prince William as well as the independent cities of Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas, Manassas Park, and Alexandria.

Here is what we focus on:

• Geographical Locations
• Politicians
• Schools
• Governments
• Transit
• Parks & Recreational Facilities
• Major, Notable events
• Landmarks

While they are within our project's scope, we do not focus on:

• Biographies about anyone who is not a politician who lives/grew up in Northern Virginia
• Companies Headquartered in Northern Virginia

• Take a Photo that has been requested
• The actual Northern Virginia page needs cleanup badly. It has multiple issues including NPOV, Organization, basic grammar, and some irrelevant information.
• The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) article is currently a stub and needs to be expanded badly. HOT lane controversy and budget problems should be addressed in NOVA as well as a better overview.
• The Virginia HOT Lanes article is a stub. If anyone can expand on it, please do so.
• The Alexandria, Virginia article needs more citations and re-wording, especially in the "neighborhoods" section
