Catalog description: The symbiotic relationship between sports and the media that cover them. Also, the impact these two institutions working in tandem have on the American society.
Instructor's description: Thank goodness we can watch, hear or read about our favorite sports events in the media! Have you thought about how the media connects us to sports? What kind of responsibility does the media have for sports fans? These questions are among the many that we will examine in this course.
With Wikipedia, you will have the privilege to contribute information relevant to communication and power that might be missing, lacking or incorrect.
