{{assignment|Assignment - DUE: Prospectus of Wikipedia work team contributions}}

By the beginning of class on Thursday 10/25, Wikipedia work teams must have a prospectus developed and submitted via the MyCourses assignment. The prospectus is less than a page in length, and should include:

1. A brief description of the team's topic

2. A list of 2-3 Wikipedia articles that have been identified as possibilities for contributing information on the topic

3. A brief paragraph describing the contribution(s) to be made on each Wikipedia article listed

4. A list of a few secondary sources identified that can support the proposed contributions

You probably have some feedback from other students and possibly other Wikipedians. Consider their suggestions, decide whether it makes your work more accurate and complete, and edit your draft to make those changes.

{{assignment|Assignment - Begin moving your work to Wikipedia}}

Now that you've improved your draft based on others' feedback, it's time to move your work live - to the "mainspace." Be sure to have introduced your contributions on the article's talk page.

Now's the time to revisit your text and refine your work. You may do more research and find missing information; rewrite the lead section to represent all major points; reorganize the text to communicate the information better; or add images and other media.

{{assignment|Assignment - Polish your work}}

Continue to expand and improve your work, and format your article to match Wikipedia's tone and standards. Remember to contact your Wikipedia Expert at any time if you need further help!
