Cleanup template for math

I would like to create some cleanup templates for mathematical equations to make it easier to point out when an equation is wrong or missing information. Would it be reasonable to make an inline template like Template:Clarification needed but that says instead undefined variables or something similar? I could do it but I am not an expert on template making (please ping me if you answer).--ReyHahn (talk) 11:58, 6 March 2021 (UTC)

:If you could list down several examples of the articles which needs those formula corrections, then please go ahead to create that template. But can you try to list down some of the articles which may need that templates? Chongkian (talk) 14:58, 19 July 2023 (UTC)

Template like More detail needed with reason and talk

The {{tl|More detail needed}} template can be used to request specifying missing information, but it does not have {{para|reason}} and {{para|talk}} parameters. Is there an equivalent template that allows specifying what is missing and a talk link? -- Shmuel (Seymour J.) Metz Username:Chatul (talk) 12:56, 12 March 2025 (UTC)

Template like verth with no character rotation?

The {{tl|verth}} template rotates the rendered heading, e.g.,

class="wikitable"

! {{verth|heading}}

yeields

class="wikitable"

! {{verth|heading}}

,

Is there a template that vertically aligns the characters but preserves their orientation?

class="wikitable"

! style="border-style: solid solid none solid" | h

style="border-style: none solid none solid" | e
style="border-style: none solid none solid" | a
style="border-style: none solid none solid" | d
style="border-style: none solid none solid" | i
style="border-style: none solid none solid" | n
style="border-style: none solid solid solid" | g

without the extra space. -- Shmuel (Seymour J.) Metz Username:Chatul (talk) 14:07, 12 March 2025 (UTC)

inline templates should visually indicate to which part of the text they apply to

I would like to make a suggestion: Inline templates should specify the text portion to which it applies. Visually, the problematic text in the article should have a dotted underline so that the reader knows to which part of the sentence the inline template applies to.

For example: unproblematic text problematic unsourced text[citation needed]

This means that the first part doesn't need a citation but the second (dotted underlined) part does. --boarders paradise (talk) 00:38, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
