NOLAP is a term, an appropriate term, for something which I have been using for a number of years: a "general profile" for XBRL. Rene van Egmond and I called this XBRLS. See [http://xbrl.squarespace.com/xbrls]. I am dropping that name and going with the term NOLAP

: Is it a term that you invented? If not, where did it come from? Please identify some reliable sources that discuss "NOLAP" in an authoritative manner. ([https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/comp.databases.olap/a3MBB5p_q-M This source] doesn't count.) ~ Ningauble (talk) 16:58, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

:: The term NOLAP was created by the company 29msec. What they did is notice that something they were creating was basically OLAP for NoSQL. They explained it, I helped them tune their understanding of what NOLAP was, I agree with their observations, and have been solidifying my understanding as I am putting together that article. So, no, I did not invent the term but I did feel the term is appropriate and adopted the term. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CharlesHoffman (talkcontribs) 13:55, 5 May 2014‎

::: Is this something between 29msec and yourself, or can you identify some independent, reliable sources that discuss the "NOLAP" neologism in an authoritative manner? It may be a fine idea, but at issue here is whether it is a notable one and whether the article is grounded in secondary sources that address it directly. ~ Ningauble (talk) 15:53, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
