Wikipedia talk:Bots/Requests for approval/RetractionBot

Morning,

I'm seeking to make a few minor changes to the bot - these have been discussed to an extent at Wikipedia:Bot_requests#User:RetractionBot, v2, and on the bots talk page, however I wanted to add these to the approval just so they are logged, given the original scope was somewhat narrow.

• Change in code location - now at [https://github.com/cookies52/retractionBot]
• Changing datasource to be retraction watch, see [https://www.crossref.org/blog/news-crossref-and-retraction-watch/ CrossRef Article]
• Add support for {{tl|Erratum}} and {{tl|Expression of concern}} - these use exactly the same format/structure as the {{tl|Retracted}}, so needed minimal code changes.

I believe these are all minor, uncontroversial changes, however wanted to note here and make sure this was not going to be an issue. Regards, Mdann52 (talk) 17:20, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
