I was informed that last year I was banned for spamming the #offtopic channel with skibidi references and bunch of other gen alpha-risms over a period of time, although it wasn’t consistent spam. I joined back recently after a year but I was told to write a ban appeal and was timed out for 6 weeks. I was wondering if I could have my ban lifted and be unmuted, thank you in advance. ::Sorry, I wrote the appeal while I was on the bus and before that, I haven’t slept till 3am (but I have now slept). However, spamming skibidi toilet in the off topic channel was very silly of me and something that I shouldn’t have done to begin with. I’d like you to consider that while this was the breaking of a rule, it was ultimately harmless and I had no malicious or bad intentions. For transparency, I was banned for simply derailing #meta channel, #offtopic channel and corresponding threads as an annoyance. I would like to lodge another appeal, and will follow the server rules carefully to avoid another mishap, including mentions of certain on-wiki actions. Since the last appeal, I was indirectly right to wait six months before posting another appeal. I would be collaborative on providing and receiving advice on edits. If you're being reverted, it's probably because you have a conflict of interest and are not editing neutrally. For context, Tone Check is an Edit Check that uses a language model to prompt people adding promotional, derogatory, or otherwise subjective language to reconsider the tone of what they are writing.

This conversation is, in part, a response to a prototype being ready for testing and a conversation that emerged at Village pump (WMF).
