If there's little interest in a purely social meetup, we can also plan a meeting with an agenda in the fall when User:Rachel Helps (BYU) and others are free. Honestly I'm just envious of those in Wiki communities large enough for a meetup and wanted to try to grow interest here. Hi, I am an out-of-stater who is helping WikiPortraits in setting up the notifications for the 2025 Utah Wikipedia Day at Sundance Film Festival. I would like to set up a geonotice, but am struggling as to what so specify. If I set the NW corner at the Idaho / Nevada / Utah tripoint (41°59′37″N 114°2′30″W) & the SE corner at the Four Corners Monument, I will cover the whole of Utah & part of SW Wyoming.

However, I do not think that someone from St. Georges, UT, will want to drive nearly five hours to Park City. I was wondering if it would be wiser to limit it to the I-15 & I-80 corridors east of the Great Salt Lake & Utah Lake.

However, since we are offering a remote option, maybe it would be okay to cast a wide net. I was hoping that some of you Utah residents might kindly offer some advice. Peaceray (talk) 07:53, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
