Before requesting WP:PR

Hi all. Though I have studied the guidelines here, I still have some concerns, as I am willing to participate in the competitions like Destubathon and WP:DCWC.

But first, can I request those articles here now, for which a few of my recent requests at other forums (help desk, WikiProjects, etc.) went un-noticed?
