can we get some eyes/input on this?
ive proposed to correct this mistake, and wondering if we can get some more input around a topic that has to do with the maghreb: Talk:Moroccan_Quarter#Requested_move_5_February_2022
Requested move at [[Talk:Tarifit#Requested move 9 January 2025]]
File:Information.svg There is a requested move discussion at Talk:Tarifit#Requested move 9 January 2025 that may be of interest to members of this WikiProject. Fathoms Below (talk) 01:25, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
WikiProject Medieval Magheb
I want to create a WikiProject focused on the history of the medieval Maghreb, from the Islamic conquests up to the arrival of the Ottomans. The goal is to improve coverage of this period, which is often overlooked or poorly documented. Many existing articles rely heavily on outdated sources, unverifiable original content, or additions without proper references. Some are shaped by nationalist narratives, while others draw from blogs or non-specialist websites instead of serious historical research. If you're interested in this era and have some background or curiosity about it, you're very welcome to join. Regards

[[Talk:Imane Khelif#RfC: Sex Status]]
There is an RFC about whether we should refer to the Khelif's sex as being uncertain. Editors are invited to contribute. TarnishedPathtalk 10:47, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
The DCWC is back!
File:Developing countries award - gold.svg
WikiProject Algeria, the Developing Countries WikiContest will be returning for a second year, and sign-ups are now open! The contest will run from 1{{nbsp}}July to 30{{nbsp}}September, and the objective remains the same: improve as many articles relating to developing countries as you can to help fight systemic bias on Wikipedia.
In other news, we have a new face on the coordinator team this year: last year's sixth-place finisher, {{user|Arconning}}! The coordinators would like to extend a sincere thanks to {{user|Ixtal}}, who is leaving the team, without whom the contest would not exist. After feedback from contestants last year, the scoring rules are undergoing some modifications; the new rules and a summary of the changes made will be posted to the contest talk page shortly.
If you have any questions, please leave a message on the contest talk page, use the {{tl|@DCWC coordinators}} template, or contact one of the coordinators: {{user|Arconning}}, {{user|sawyer777}}, or {{user|TechnoSquirrel69}}.
