Help with [[Sanket Goel]]
Hi! I've been trying to clear up the COI and original research tags on this article. Can anybody help me out with what should be removed and fixed? Shashy 922 (talk) 07:20, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
Christopher McKnight Nichols
Christopher McKnight Nichols. Likely public relations article creation. I am wondering if he passes WP:NPROF. I've trimmed out lots of things that simply listed out awards, citing the non-notable award issuer themselves, or news links just to say he's "appeared in". Graywalls (talk) 21:52, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
:On the face of it, he would appear to pass WP:PROF#C5 (named professorship in lead) and WP:AUTHOR (multiple published reviews of his books can be found on JSTOR and Google Scholar). —David Eppstein (talk) 23:01, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
[[Ankit Fadia]] ''Early life and education'' section
Greetings editors. My name is Ankit Fadia, the subject of a linked article under this WikiProject. I was wondering if anyone could take a look at my request on the Talk page of the article? Any input or assistance is welcome, thanks for your time. Afadia (talk) 21:38, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
Dr. Khaldoun Sweis
Hi
I was hired by Dr. Khaldoun Sweis to fix his Wikipedia-article, which I felt I did, and now it´s cut in half, and I´m being told not to edit - all the while there still are "error messages" at the top of the article.
I was told in the chat that the previous issue was inline-links.
As for sourced material, I feel there are ample amounts of those?
One section that was removed was Personal life. I don´t know why that would be removed when it was there before? Would it help if Dr. Khaldoun verified the information personally?
Another section that was removed was Core Philosophy, which seems of public interest to me, as he meets several criteria for Notable Academic.
Now somebody seems to be heckling me, and not answering any questions.

Yours truly

Edward Y. Chang
Could someone from S&A take a look at :Edward Y. Chang? The article was recently draftified due to paid editing concerns (oddly enough by the same user who created the article), but was moved back to the mainspace by an administrator. It seems almost certain that the subject meets :WP:NACADEMIC, but the subject of the article has also been editing it on and off over the past few years; so, it might be a good idea for someone experienced in biographies about academics to take a look at it. To me, it seems like there's a bit of puffery and an overall CV feel, but there's also some pretty major claims (e.g. inventing the DVR) that probably need secondary sources cited in support: the subject also added similar claims to :Digital video recorder#History. There's also lots of excessive detail about some of the subjects research. Anyway, I tried to do a bit a cleanup (feel free to revert if I went too far), but perhaps (once again) someone more experienced with this type of biography could do some more (if deemed necessary). -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:41, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
