Shades of blue in the Cuban flag
File:Information icon4.svg There is currently a discussion at Talk:Republic of Cuba (1902–1959) regarding the shade of blue for the pre-revolution flag. The thread is Shade of blue on the cuba flag. Thank you. Skjoldbro (talk) 09:26, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
Coat of arms request for [[John Laird, Baron Laird]]
Hey folks - big fan of the work you're all doing here. I came to humbly request a free SVG coat of arms for the article on John Laird, Baron Laird. I've put full details in the talk page, including a reference drawing from a non-free source which would be great on the page if adapted as a free SVG. I would be very grateful for any assistance. Many thanks in advance :) PointUnderstander (talk) 00:31, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
Official blazons
Are unofficial blazons allowed to be put on Wikipedia (as in, blazons that the article editor came up with)? Potatek (talk) 17:19, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
:I'd say no. While WP:OI allows for the creation of original emblazonments from a blazon, I think WP:OR pretty concretely prohibits blazons from an image. I also think trying to create a blazon from and image is fraught with difficulties and an amateur Wikipedia editor is very liable to get it wrong (e.g. confusing Rampant and salient; or Or with Orange or Copper; etc.). In my opinion, it's not the sort of thing you can trust Wikipedia editors to do. Cakelot1 ☞️ talk 20:01, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
::What about specifying that they're unofficial blazons? Potatek (talk) 21:19, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
:::I saw the page on the coat of arms of Syria specifying that the blazon was unoffical. Potatek (talk) 21:57, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
::::Is that not a good example. It gives a blazon of Tierced in pale vert, argent, and sable, three mullets, and palewise gules
; but why not Tierced in pale vert, argent, and sable, three mullets in pale gules
or Per pale vert and sable, on a pale argent three mullets in pale gules
. If there's no referable blazon that can be included, what's the point of making one up when it isn't even real. Just include a description in plain text when that's all that is citable (or don't include it at all). Cakelot1 ☞️ talk 00:10, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
:::::Okay, thank you! Potatek (talk) 11:14, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
::And a reader to whom the blazon is meaningful can conceive one on their own from the image; unless the reader is blind, or a charge is obscure. —Tamfang (talk) 06:16, 16 February 2025 (UTC)

Country data Lebanon, Chehab family flag
Should :c:File:Chehab family flag.svg be included in {{t|Country data Lebanon}}? I would argue not, as it can not really be seen as a "Lebanese" flag. The first flag intended to be used as a representation of Lebanese people is the 1918 one (:c:File:Cedar flag.svg). {{u|Paine Ellsworth}} asked for consensus before removing the flag. Pinging {{u|VNW060222}} who had requested its inclusion last year. Nehme1499 15:27, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
:Yeah maybe you right VNW060222 (talk) 15:51, 2 March 2025 (UTC)

Disability flag
Perhaps someone from this WikiProject could take a look at :Disability flag. It looks like the article was recently expanded, but all of the new content in unsourced and reads like :WP:OR. Maybe someone more knowlegdgable about the subject matter can figure whether there's something worth keeping that can be verified by reliable sources, or whether it all needs to go. Some formatting errors (section heading capitalization and other stuff) were also introduced, but these are fairly esy to cleanup; it's the content itself that's more of a concern. -- Marchjuly (talk) 20:52, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
:It may take a bit of time to properly cite, but a quick [https://www.google.com/search?q=disability+flag&oq=disability+flag Google search] turned up several sources. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 21:48, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
United Kingdom Supreme Court
Sodacan (who now no longer seems to be active here) created this image in September 2022, ironically just after Elizabeth II died. The court has now followed Charles III's decision to change from St Edward's Crown to the Tudor Crown. Would anyone be able to replace or modify this image accordingly? Robin S.
