Should the infobox for Prime Ministers include a sequence number in the US style (47th President)?

There is a discussion at talk:Donald Tusk#Nth prime minister which could use other voices to achieve a consensus. Although the discussion is centralised there, it applies to all Polish prime ministers and presidents and, when settled, would become the policy of this WikiProject. The question is whether sequence numbers should be used (no other country in Europe does so) and if so, from when does the count start? Please contribute there. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 20:30, 17 April 2025 (UTC)

:The consensus reached is that no, it should not. The same applies to the infoboxes for each President of Poland. The reason is that there is no evidence that this (US) custom is used in Poland and consequently it is a WP:SYNTH (and arguably, WP:OR) violation to create it. --𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 15:19, 20 April 2025 (UTC)

New editor removing huge pieces of referenced text

Please keep an eye on edits of User:Ann123gg. She reverted huge swaths of text in Lemkos and Borderlands Poles without reasonable explanations. Of course I reverted these edits and requested explanations. --Altenmann >talk 20:20, 30 May 2025 (UTC)

Article title help

Hi, Repressions against Jehovah's Witnesses in Poland between 1945 and 1956 was recently translated from the Polish Wikipedia, but the article name is a bit of a mouthful. Does anyone have any suggestions to make it shorter? The only era specific JW article I'm aware of is Persecution of Jehovah's Witnesses in Nazi Germany. Other countries usually follow a "Jehovah Witnesses in x country" or "Persecution of Jehovah's Witnesses in y country" naming scheme. I'm asking here instead of WikiProject JW because it's not a very active project. Maybe there's a name for this era in Polish history if these specific years are important? Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 18:10, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

:Maybe {{xt|Persecution of Jehovah's Witnesses in Communist Poland}}, this would resemble the German example scheme and include information about an era. The terms {{xt|Communist era}} and {{xt|Communist Poland}} are commonly used to refer to this period of history of Poland in English. There is also the less common {{xt|People's Poland}}. I would avoid using {{!xt|Polish People's Republic}} as it was introduced not until 1952. Other phrasing of the title could be {{xt|Persecution of Jehovah's Witnesses in Poland (1945–1956)}}. — Antoni12345 (talk) 20:59, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

Stub improvement

The stub Dziennik Bałtycki should be improved, this is a leading newspaper of the region where Karol Nawrocki comes from. Working for them was part of his son Daniel's life. --Himbeerbläuling (talk) 07:36, 11 June 2025 (UTC) --Himbeerbläuling (talk) 10:38, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
