Not prolific, but has even been creating new sections just for his/her links. I've reverted or rolled back everything. Active since the 17th but I gave the first and only warning so far because I watch the Crater Lake article. Valfontis (talk) 15:49, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Current guidance (which is very old) suggests tagging articles which are "spam targets" or "prone to spam". This goes against the grain of normal problem tagging. Therefore I propose:

1. Changing guidance for existing visible tags to be used only where there is a current problem
2. Adding a tracker to "{{Tlx|No more links}}" that categorises a new "prone to spam" category
3. Creating a visible talk page template that categorises a new "prone to spam" category

I will do the first one boldly I think, at :Category:Wikipedia spam cleanup and Wikipedia:Spam#Tagging_articles_with_spam_or_prone_to_spam.

:OK, subject to BRD and improvements I have changed the guidance, and created {{Tlx|Prone to spam}} which can be used as a warning on talk pages or a invisible tracker on articles - I have built it into {{Tlx|No more links}}. One or more unregistered editors continually vandalize Australian university articles to change their official websites to avoiceformen.org ({{LinkSummary|avoiceformen.org}}). I think there is some dispute related to perceived sexism but this vandalism has been ongoing for quite some time and adding the website to the local blacklist may be the only way to effectively prevent this continual problem. The Blackwell encyclopedia is an good reliable third party tertiary source. Its use in Wikipedia articles is a benefit, not spam. This is true even if the links are added by the personal who wrote an article in there, as long as they're added to appropriate articles DGG ( talk ) 02:12, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

I work at WP:COIN and this report came in recently. {{u|Themacor}} has added [http://www.utakmica.rs a website] to over 500 articles. The website is completely in Serbian and has no alternate translation (specifically English). Per WP:NONENGEL, the link shouldn't be added unless there are no English alternatives. Not only are there several English alternatives, they're listed in the articles in question. The Serbian website contributes no new information. I would apply the regular warnings and seek help from ANI but the user has added the link 83 times today, already. The regular path doesn't seem appropriate for this case.

On a side note, I see no evidence of a conflict of interest but given the circumstances, it seems obvious that the editor has a vested interest in increasing traffic to the website in question. OlYeller21^Talktome 17:57, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

Many articles on Indian villages, towns and cities seem to want to use their pages for commercial promotion. But sometimes it seems a thin line between describing the commercial set up and and outright spam. Please check out Agartala. It lists all major banks, newspapers, private companies giving their contact details. This seems to be the template for Indian towns, not at all an exception. This company appears to have employed a single purpose user user:Hjoharat via [http://www.freelancer.ph/users/2606135.html] to pepper WP liberally with external links to its site and create WP articles about its products.
