This seems to be a single-purpose account, created to promote a book ( {{cite book|title=Mass Suicides on Saipan and Tinian, 1944: An Examination of the Civilian Deaths in Historical Context|first=Alexander |last=Astroth |publisher=McFarland & Company |year=2019|isbn=1476674566|page=126}}). The account was created two days ago, has made over 200 edits, all with the single common attribute of adding the above book as a reference. Often the additions to the article are not useful, such as at [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Oceania&diff=prev&oldid=904144274 Oceania]. It's a fact, it's referenced, but it's not appropriate for that context.

I haven't done anything yet, I don't have the tools to revert 200+ edits. If someone sanity checks my conclusion, I'll go through the effort of reverting the edits manually. Tarl N. (discuss) 18:54, 30 June 2019 (UTC)

Hi,

I have just removed blatant advertisement for a DVD on the Hans Scharff article. The offending user {{IP summary|2601:246:4a80:e90:21ca:6a9b:9af6:dfd5}} restored the advertisement I had previously removed and added even more references to it. I don't know who originally placed the advertisement there. I have also removed identical efforts by that user on Stalag Luft III and Gabby Gabreski.
